What makes this tour unique is that we travel in the opposite direction and at different times from the regular bus tours, avoiding the crowds and giving you the feeling of having Iceland almost to yourself.
This is a journey through the raw beauty of Iceland, where fire meets ice and adventure meets peace. While exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, you will enjoy the scenic coastal walk in Arnarstapi, surrounded by dramatic cliffs, lava formations, and views of Snæfellsjökull Glacier. The tour also includes Mt. Kirkjufell, Ytri-Tunga seal beach, Djúpalónssandur black sand beach, Ólafsvík, Borgarnes, and the iconic Búðakirkja Church.
Optional activities such as a lava cave visit or a snowcat journey up to the glacier can be added upon request. These experiences are not included in the tour price, but Elisabete will gladly arrange everything for a seamless and unforgettable Icelandic adventure.

Gerduberg basalt columns
15 min stop to be amazed by the Cliffs. Many have compared Gerberg basalt columns of the feature to a fortress wall. The most unusual thing about Gerðuberg is how the columns are so geometrically symmetrical that they seem to be carved by hand.

A private tour with a local is the way to travel. Elisabet was an amazing guide! She is knowledgeable about all things Iceland, personable, patient and kind. A true teacher of the world. By the end of the trip, we felt like we had left with more than just beautiful pictures. Elisabet is a guide and friend.

From the moment we arrived at the airport and met Elisabete, we knew we were in good hands. She had planned for us to visit the Blue Lagoon on our way to our hotel in Reykjavik and had bought our tickets. She walked us in, explained what to expect, and gave us a couple of hours to enjoy the pool, masks, and beverages as we soaked under the stars. Then she dropped us off at Hotel Borg in the city. We had a two day Golden Circle tour and spent the night at the Landhotel in Arbaer, It seemed like the middle of nowhere, which was just what we wanted, because Elisabete had arranged for the Northern Lights to appear while we were there! She picked us up the next morning, and we continued on our way. She had lots of stops planned and gave us plenty of time to enjoy them--as much time as we wanted. Elisabete's love for Iceland and it's beauty shined through as she told us about its history as well as the realities of living there today. We had a few hours in Reykjavik to wander around before our plane left on our last day, and Elisabete had laid out an interesting walking tour for us to do on our own. We loved having her pick us up to go back to the airport. She made our visit to Iceland stress-free, easy, and delightful. We highly recommend Elisabete as a tour guide extraordinaire. It was such a treat to be with just a small group to sightsee and explore a unique and beautiful country.
