What To Expect
Your first snorkeling adventure takes place around the entire island of Silk Cayes where you have the opportunity to snorkel with nurse sharks, sea turtles and stingrays. Then enjoy a little time on this beautiful island. After this first adventure, you'll head over to Moho Caye for a freshly cooked lunch prepared by your guides. After lunch, you can continue snorkeling around the beautiful island of Moho Caye.

5.00Very knowledgeable guides! The boat ride was a bit long and rough due to the weather, so be prepared (aka bring a snack). Snorkeling was wonderful, lunch and time exploring Moho Caye-fantastic! While its not a "difficult" adventure, its also not easy. Absolutely recommend!

5.00We had an amazing time on this snorkeling trip! We were able to see a bunch of different animals and coral. The captain and guide of our boat were both incredibly welcoming and informative. It was really lovely to learn about the fish/reef and Belize. Highly recommend this tour! Please were sunshirts and shorts instead of sunscreen though, as the sunscreen (even reef safe sunscreen) is bad for the reef.

5.00Our group used Captain Jax’s for four excursions during our trip, and every single one was amazing! They were incredibly responsive on WhatsApp and answered all of my questions quickly, which made planning so easy. All of our tours were private, and we did a snorkel trip, island hopping, ATV & waterfall tour, and a reef fishing trip. It was such a fun bonus having the same crew—Nick, Burger, and Mario—on both snorkel trips. They took the time to learn our names and even remembered my favorite fish to spot, pointing them out along the way, which made the experience feel so personal. Nick was also our captain for the reef fishing trip, and he was fantastic. The ATV & waterfall tour ended up being one of the highlights of the entire trip! I can’t recommend Captain Jax’s enough—everything was seamless, fun, and truly memorable.

5.00The snorkeling was fabulous, and the lunch was delicious. But what really stood out was the amazing crew and their focus on ensuring everyone had a great time. Whether it was checking to see if we need dry towels or more water to answering a zillion questions to cracking jokes- they were all amazing. What really took them over the top was that there were three of us who weren’t great swimmers and were nervous. One of the guides stayed with us, encouraged us and also helped pull us along when we were tired. He did not have to do that- but he said he wanted us to enjoy the trip. We’ve traveled a lot and the customer focus from this group was in an elite status.

5.00Me and her friend went on this trip and it was awesome. They are very communicated and they make sure you’re safe the whole trip. Carlos was the best. He got great footage of a lobster on my GoPro. The staff are very funny and make you feel comfortable. They took us to. Moho beach, silk caye; and we even got to swim with nurse sharks, stingrays and turtles. The boat wasn’t crowded. The tour is actually about 6 to 7 hours. I would highly recommend to anyone who is traveling to Belize to do this tour.

5.00Great experience and BBQ! I loved seeing all the fish and having Linda explain the fish and taking us was a blast! Linda is the GOAT! What a nice lady! I also got to explore Moho and play a little beach volleyball! Seriously take this tour you won’t regret seeing the coral and also BRING AN UNDERWATER CAMERA!

5.00We did two tours with Captain Jak's: full day snorkeling and full-day scuba. Both trips were great! Mario was a great guide! All the equipment was great. Lunch was delicious! Boat ride was smooth. Very happy with our tours!
