  Excursion on top! Very family and good atmosphere. Far from the biggest boats full of tourists. We were about ten people and avoided the crowds, which allowed us to observe in small committee. Great food with your feet in the water. That was great.

  I could not recommend this enough. Tour guides were amazing and the experience was phenomenal. We saw so many sea creatures, including sharks, stingrays and turtles. Our tour guide junior just scooped up the stingrays and let us all give them big kisses. It was seriously once in a lifetime experience. We were an English and French group and they were so wonderful to make sure to translate everything and make sure we understood it all. I never once felt left out and they always made sure for us to follow them to see all of the animals. Bonus points for them feeding us an incredible lunch. The sharks and the rays were just swimming at your feet while eating lunch. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Moorea.

  It was awesome!!! We swam with turtles rays sharks, the guide told us legends. They took care of everyone, it was amazing!! The price is worth it!

  We took this tour while visiting on a cruise ship. I had several communications with the operator, via Viator, and they were very responsive and monitored the anchor location of our ship. They provided very specific pick up times. They picked up from the tender pier. On the day of the tour, we were to meet the boat between 9-9:15 am at the pier. We were there very early. By 9:15 we had not seen the boat. It arrived about 9:20. We boarded but the crew spent another 20 minutes looking for a missing guest. Supposedly, it was 1 guest but they came back with 3. I’m still not sure that they all were booked with us since two of them were totally unprepared for a boat trip or getting in the water. In any event, we got a late start. We stopped at 3 locations. The first was to view some underwater tikis that had been placed in the lagoon. They were a little hard to find but there was plenty of fish and coral. The water was beautiful. The second stop was for sharks and rays. Both were present and there was quite a bit of coral as well. There were a lot more boats at this location as well as a vendor selling photos. The third stop was for lunch but also had snorkeling off the rocky beach. There were many other boats. It appears to be a place the multiple companies use for a catered lunch. The good was good, not great. We do not eat raw fish (this was not the kind in the coconut milk) and really don’t care for plain rice. To our disappointment, there was no fresh fruit (which is wonderful in the islands). The snorkeling was very nice. We had more time so could go out on our own to explore the coral heads. Sharks and rays were present as well. After lunch, our boat crew found some friends on the island and was occupied for the remaining time. Shortly after the appointed time, we took the relatively short ride back to the marina. Despite the initial hiccups, we enjoyed the tour and the beautiful snorkeling.

• Swimming with Sharks and Rays with a Nice Lunch

  This is a great tour. This group is limited to 12 people making it more intimate compared to the large group cruise ship tour. We snorkeled in several locations around the island. We saw turtles, dolphins, tropical fish, rays and sharks. The highlight was the shallow sandbar area where we swam with sharks and rays. After snorkeling, we enjoyed a chicken and fish plate lunch while sitting at a picnic table with our feet in the water and rays and sharks swimming at our feet. Exhilarating!

  It was amazing!!!!! The tour guides were fantastic and kind and knowledgeable! We saw and pet so many sting rays , the sharks were everywhere and left you alone. We saw dolphins and turtles! They fed us amazing food! It was a wonderful day !

  I was concerned about booking this excursion since we were on a cruise. I was assured that a yellow boat would pick us up at the pier at 9:15, and, that is exactly what happened! We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our trip! The water and snorkeling were amazing. Our lunch at the swim up picnic table was the highlight! Stingrays and small fish swam between our legs as reef sharks swam nearby. Our guide was wonderful and fun. I recommend this tour with no hesitation.
