Experience was good enough, boat ride out and the crew were friendly and helpful. However once you get there its a continued money driven enterprise instead of giving tourists an experience they already paid good dollars for, for example we went to one of the beaches and sat down on some vacated sun lounge chairs only to be told they cost $60 for the day to rent (rip off and should be free out of courtesy) and then the crocodile and aquarium section again costs to enter (haven't we already paid to travel there) once we replied to the lady we weren't going to pay to enter she cut us off and continued on with her head in her book, I found the staff on green island to be rude and not personable. My advice is take a packed lunch and find a nice nook in the shade on the beach to get your monies worth. Glass bottom boat however short it was it still was a good experience, this part was worth it!

Nice quiet island to relax. We did the Glass bottom boat. Sae lots of fish and coral. Rented two chairs and umbrella on the beach and enjoyed the water.

Enjoyed the experience as it was a very nice day. Green Island was beautiful and enjoyed walking around the island and taking pictures. The glass bottom boat ride was so-so. There was too much glare trying to take pictures through the glass. It was fun seeing the fish and coral.

Great way for an intro into viewing the Great Barrier Reef(GBR)! Tour cruiser was on time and met all expectations of excursions. Green Island provided all facilities (toilets, showers, changing rooms, dive shop, restaurant) even though it was a small island I am a novice at snorkeling and was too anxious about going out to deeper eaters of GBR. Snorkeling off the beach better suited me. Although the coral reef I saw while snorkeling was not so overly abundant, it was still plenty coral with sea creatures for me. Seeing the GBR on the glass bottom boats was very satisfying for me. A great way to go out to deeper waters & see so much more of the reef and abundant fish

I booked the tour in advance, and I was satisfied with snorkelling although my wife was not that impressed with the glass bottom boat tour. We spent some great time on the secluded beaches of the island and the serenity of the rain forest. It was time well spent, but if you want to see more from the reef you must book some other tour that goes further into it.
