Green Island was a great day out. Beautiful beach, great snorkeling in calm water. Food is expensive on the island.

The crew on our catamaran were helpful and managed all the different activity groups very efficiently. Green Island is a heavenly place to spend the day with its breathtaking picture perfect beaches and clear, blue waters. The staff on the island are friendly and are happy to answer any questions or queries. The glass bottomed boat trip was a highlight of the day and the skipper kept us enthralled with his knowledge of the reef and its inhabitants. We also visited the crocodile and marine life habitat, watched the turtle and crocodiles being fed and learnt many new and interesting facts. We spent some time strolling around the island and then relaxed on the beach until our catamaran arrived to take us back to Cairns where the crew lined up and waved us a cherry farewell.

What an inexpensive way to spend your time with your family and friends. From the beginning you ride on a beautiful catamaran to clear water and sandy beaches.

Travelled to Green Island where we could explore and then had a 30 minute or so trip on a glass bottomed boat. The person on the boat was very knowledgeable and able to answer everyone's questions. This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and well worth the money. Would be better if the operators actually donated some money towards protection of the Reef or a surcharge was made for this.
