With the choice of three daily departures from Cairns, this Green Island cruise is perfect for visitors with limited time, offering a half or full day experience (up to 7 hours). You will have the choice of a glass bottom boat coral viewing tour or snorkelling equipment.

Green Island National Park
Green Island is a beautiful 6000 year old coral cay. It's the only coral cay on the Great Barrier Reef with a rainforest! You will have a choice of snorkel equipment to snorkel from the white sandy beaches or to stay dry and see the island's reef from the glass bottom boat. Enjoy a walk through the lush rainforest.

5.00Tour included boat ride to and from Green Island National Park. Island has been developed for activities like snorkeling on the reef and learning about the Aboriginal & geological history of the island and area. There is food available and places to relax as well. Nice place to come solo, with friends, family or groups.

3.00Small Island that on a nice weather day would be great. But prices of food and drink are so expensive and food quality terrible (bring your own). We had a lot of wind but not the islands fault.

3.00Just under an hours boat ride to Green Island, was a windy day so not too pleasant once there. I opted for the glass bottom boat ride - under 30 minutes, driver was informative though. Not much to do on island, pool is surrounded by the cafes, beach area was crowded and windy. Caught earlier boat back to mainland, saw some whales.. best part of day. May have been better if I had taken a book to read or gone with a mate.
