An exclusive snowmobile tour for those who love driving and want a full day out to see more of the nature around Kiruna! Highly recommended for guests who have driven snowmobiles before as there will be long driving distances through winding forest tracks, along the spectacular frozen Torne River and across frozen arctic lakes. While on tour, you will enjoy a tasty outdoor lunch of local delicacies while sitting on reindeer fur surrounding an open fire.

What To Expect
Meet your guide at the Kiruna Guidetur office and collect warm clothes for the tour. Then you will be driven about 20mins to the forest start point, where you will be given a safety briefing and collect a helmet. Due to the length of this tour, and the long driving distances covered (50-70km), we recommend this tour for guests with experience driving snowmobiles (recommended, but not compulsory). You will drive along exciting forest tracks and pick up speed on the wide open frozen Torne River. This tour is a great way to experience the arctic nature and feel the adrenaline pumping! During the tour you will enjoy an outdoor lunch of local delicacies sitting on reindeer fur around an open fire. After returning to the start point of the tour, the guide will drive you back to the Kiruna Guidetur office.

5.00I paid the cost of two travellers to go on this tour but it was definately worth it. If you want to try snowmobiling you honestly will get the absalout most out of this tour. You spend around 4-5 hours riding and it involves going over lakes, rivers and forest tracks. The instructor was really friendly and helpful, sometimes let me ride at speed and have some free roaming time when in fields. On request he also stopped for me to see some igloos. I would seriously recommend this tour, it’s touch but quite simple and the instructor was very friendly and helpful. The scenery is also beautiful and the guide focuses on you.

5.00amazing trip with guide mr saran... once in a lifetime... we went out on the fishing trip to a frozen river bed. the spot he chose yeided many a fish! grilled and served at site. snowmobile ride was just so good. everything on the trip was conducted so well professionally well.. starting from the dorning of winter wear.. drive to the camp... setting up the snowmobile.. driving to the spot.. fishing... drive back.. drop to the hotel... cannot describe in better words.. keep up!!!

5.00This trip was just awesome! Our guide Flo went beyond to make it special. We have tried a full day snowmobile trip in Rovanemi before and this was much much better. The tracks are better (not highway like) and it is okay to go a bit into the deep snow and Flo was really cool. We really felt he looked after us and made sure we had a good trip. If we could give 10 starts we would. THANK YOU! (the "burgers" was great too).

4.00The guide had a lot of ideas of things that could be covered. However, I do not believe that he has the knowledge or skills for survival training. The activity was fun, insightful, and exhausting. The sites were outstanding as was the meal.
