When trying to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights, it's best to get away from the city lights that make more difficult to watch the auroras; and one of the nicest ways to do that is by snowmobile!

Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed due to they are subject to weather conditions and the solar activity
Please be advised the price is per person - twin driving: means that the person has to share the snowmobile bike
If the child is 140 cm or taller, he/she can be seated on the snowmobile paying the adult's price
If the child is lower than 140 cm, he/she can be seated on the sleigh
Drivers must have valid driving licenses and be at least 18 years old.

Nordic Unique Travels
Northern Finland is full of marvelous places for watching the Northern Lights. The first rule is go away from the city lights. 5.00My sister and I visited Rovaniemi, Finland, for only two days, so we joined two activities with Nordic Unique Travels: Snowmobile Photography Trip to Hunt the Auroras and Hunting Northern Lights with Lappish Barbecue. Originally, the Snowmobile trip was canceled due to weather conditions, but thanks to the patience and professionalism of Pimu, the activities were rescheduled and swapped between the two days. During the Barbecue trip, we met our cheerful and lively guide Musti, whom we nicknamed “Princess.” On the way back, when our car got stuck in the snow, a “Prince Charming” appeared to help shovel us out—making the evening even more funny. On the Snowmobile trip, we were guided by Joey, who is also from Taiwan. Thanks to him, my sister and I were able to capture many beautiful photos with the aurora, creating unforgettable memories. I am deeply grateful to the Nordic Unique Travels team. They understood how much I wished to see the aurora and made sure I did not leave empty‑handed. Their excellent service gave me one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. If you are considering a trip to Finland, especially Rovaniemi, and are unsure about which activities to book or concerned about service quality, I strongly recommend Nordic Unique Travels. 3.00Very nice guide. However, the tour was 1 1/2 hours shorter than originally stated... The BBQ was a sausage and marshmallow...not the world. We have booked several tours with Nordic Unique Travel and most of them are certainly cheaper or you can do some things better yourself (e.g. Santa Claus Village)

5.00A unique experience. When I booked I wasn't sure if they would send me a guide in Spanish, since to ensure it they asked me to pay an extra fee. To my surprise, the guide was, and the excursion, being during the off-peak season, was just for us. Jordi, our guide, was super attentive to us, especially with the girls, he told us curiosities about Rovaniemi, the local fauna and the auroras. And although the aurora was slightly visible, we loved the snowmobile experience. Thank you so much!! We will definitely recommend this company, and if we return we will repeat with them.

2.00The activity was supposed to be 4 hours but at the end it was only 2 hours. The barbecue was only 1 saussage and 2 marshmallows. And no Nordic lights.

5.00Firstly I was surprised to find that we were the only people because we had booked the photography trip. Our guide Mario was extremely nice and helpful. He explained everything. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the lights but you can’t blame Mario for that. The weather changed while we were out which reduced our chances but the company sent another guide out to our location to say we were going to go by car to another place where we might see them. They didn’t have to do this so that was a nice touch. Snowmobiles were good fun to drive but my wife in the back found it very bumpy. I would recommend it even without the lights.

5.00We did the excursion with snowmobiles to see Aurora Boreales and barbecue in the middle of Nature.The snowmobiles were the best in Rovaniemi and took us to the place where the Aurora Boreales were best seen ;The guide that Belen took us ,was very friendly and explained everything about Aurora Boreales after doing the excursion with snowmobiles;The treatment when we arrived at the office was very good and the price is good for everything that includes .We got to see Aurora Boreales 😀😀😀😀 It is not always possible because you depend on many variables ; if you do not get to see them so - you get an excursion on snowmobiles and a barbecue . Unique experience ,we will repeat.Thank you Belen and the whole company 😘😘😘
