Absolutely fantastic experience. I was slightly apprehensive as I'm a 60+ female & hadn't ridden a snowmobile or motorbike before. My partner & I decided on a snowmobile each and it was the best experience of our whole trip. We were collected from our cruise ship, taken to the office for a safety briefing etc and to collect winter riding gear. Snowmobile driving instructions were very clear and I felt very safe the whole time. We had a perfect day out on the snow- wished we could have repeated it the next day as well! Thank you so much for making our Arctic trip so memorable. It really was the highlight of our trip!

We stayed as a family on this great trip. Our entire group consisted of only 7 people plus Birk, our guide (I hope I spelled the name correctly :) ) - with such a small group it was really customizable and not a mass event. We were picked up on time and briefly driven to the office for an appropriate initial briefing and the opportunity to change clothes. After another small panoramic drive we arrived at our starting point and were able to get started immediately after a safety briefing. Together with Birk we went through the incredible scenery. At times we stopped for photos and were able to learn about nature or animals from our guide. The tour takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours and also includes a delicious cocoa to warm up and breathe and a piece of pastry from a local bakery. We would definitely stay here again. Simply unique and unforgettable.

On March 27, 2026 in Alta, we made the excursion with motorcycles. It was the best outing of my life. The quality bikes all very punctual and organized. The monitor was incredibly attentive was the guy who picked us up too. He did his amazing job and at all times gave us confidence and security. He made our experience an unforgettable moment and the boy knew the mountain very well. It even took us to an extra time zone to serve ourselves a chocolate with sweets was an amazing feeling. Fully recommended and found a suitable price for what I lived. A 10 to the company for the investment of material and staff A 10 to the boy for his good work and good work

In the morning ThorBjorn picked us up at the hotel. Our hotel was not on the list off pleases to pick up but they arranges to pick us up. Super service. I was together with my daughter so we had a sort off private tour by Thorbjorn. He gave us the possibility to rent a extra scooter so my daughter could drive herself, what was very nice. The explanation about how to drive an what to do was perfect, we even stopped with some ice fisher and Thorbjorn stopped the bus when we drove back so that we could see the dog races that started in Alta for 1200 km run. He didn't had to do that but he did it. He took the time to tell us about Finnmark and gave us a very nice tour. It was a very personal tour due to Thorbjorn who is born in Alta and can tell a lot about is. In some words, thank you very much for this personal experience. Nothing was to much.

Our snowmobile tour in Alta with Alta Adventure was absolutely incredible and easily the highlight of our visit. From start to finish, everything about the experience was professional, safe, and exhilarating. Our guide, Stig, took the time to give careful attention to every rider, making sure we were comfortable with the machines and confident before heading out. His instruction and focus on safety made it easy to relax and fully enjoy the adventure. The snowmobiles themselves were top-notch and extremely well maintained, which made the ride across the stunning Arctic landscape even more thrilling. Whether you’re an experienced rider or trying it for the first time, the team makes sure everyone feels capable and included. Stig’s infectious personality and enthusiasm truly made the tour special. He kept the group energized, laughing, and engaged throughout the ride, and his passion for what he does was obvious. Because of him, this tour became our favorite activity in Alta. As a perfect finishing touch, we were treated to delicious hot chocolate and a Danish pastry, which was exactly what we needed after the cold, exhilarating ride. If you’re visiting Alta, this is an absolute must-do. We will definitely book again the next time we travel to Norway.

The gear they provide is amazing. Wear what you brought to be warm but then take everything they offer because it is warm and extremely nice. We were very comfortable during the ride. This was a perfect trip for multiple generations. Stig was a fantastic guide. The views were breathtaking. The snowmobiles were in excellent shape and the gear was top notch. Can’t say enough good things. You just have to take this trip! Booked on our own , not through our cruise. Best decision ever. 💜

It was a great experience and a lot of fun. The briefing was great, the route was also discussed and shown in advance. One was dressed sensibly. The guide was super nice and answered every question. Again and again...
