A good experience that was 100% worth doing. I liked being in a big group. The staff were very attentive and cared for safety. Was a friendly, efficient team. I drove that was quite hard and uncomfortable on the way to the glacier as we went slowly. My partner who sat behind me enjoyed this part. We stopped at the glacier for photos. On the way back we were quicker so it was more fun and easier to drive, my partner didnt enjoy this so much as it was bumpy and she was holding on for dear life! All in all, worth the experience, just be aware its not the most easy/comfortable experience!

Was a great once in a lifetime experience. The guides were professional and friendly. They made us feel safe with them. However I seriously underestimated how difficult the snowmobiles were to manage. Upper body strength is a requirement to handle the machine. I was totally drained at the end of the ride.

Disappointing experience! The actual snowmobiling was less than an hour. The group was simply too big (40 at a time). Very slow procession of less than 20kph, the heated grips on our bike didn’t work. Compared to previously snowmobiling in Finland and Sweden this comparison was very poor.

Transfer vehicle filled to capacity for a long uncomfortable journey. Ended up on back row with 6 other people. Had to sit forward all journey (unable to fasten seatbelt as no room to do so) just to make room for all to be seated. Experience good but could have been better experience with faster speeds on snowmobiles and a lot less people involved

Had a great time snowmobiling on a glacier. We were lucky with the weather - no wind, great visibility. From Gulfoss you’ll go in a big truck up to the glacier for about an hour where the scenery looks like it’s from the moon. Our guide Edgar was knowledgeable and funny and explained everything well. Snowmobiles looked safe and well maintained. Was about 12 in our group.

The best experience in Iceland, the tour guide was very friendly and out motivational music to get you in the adventurous mood on the bus up to the glacier. They provided overalls and helmets but you need to wrap up warm. We shared a snowmobile and went on the glacier with 2 other couples. The instructor was very friendly and funny. We went to the ice cave on the snow mobile, spent a bit of time in there then carried on over the glacier on the snowmobile, it really was an incredible experience and the instructor and tour guide were fantastic!

Fantastic snowmobiling activity. We were a family of 4. Drove to Gulfoss waterfall meeting point. Seemless, fun transfer on the monster bus to the glacier. Unique experience with fantastic views whilst on the glacier. Worth taking drinks and snacks as roughly an hour to the base camp and back again.
