5.00If you’re looking to actually improve your skiing and truly enjoy the experience, reach out to Juraj at SnowScapes in Zermatt and look no further. I’ve been skiing with Juraj for about 10 years, starting from a beginner/intermediate level. Today, I’m an advanced skier, and that progression is largely thanks to him. He has a sharp eye for detail and a structured approach that consistently delivers real improvement. With his guidance, I’ve gained confidence across all conditions—from icy runs to bumps and off-piste terrain. What truly sets him apart is how he plans the entire day. Juraj knows the Zermatt–Cervinia area inside out—both the Swiss and Italian sides—and navigates it seamlessly. He finds the best snow, avoids crowds, and even manages to secure tables at fully booked restaurants during peak season. Along the way, he introduces you to great “hidden gem” spots for coffee or hot chocolate that you wouldn’t discover on your own. I’ve also seen him teach my child, and that’s where he is exceptional. He is patient, makes lessons genuinely fun, and builds confidence naturally. Instead of feeling like a lesson, it feels like an adventure—and the progress comes quickly. My child was always excited to go back the next day. I travel across the Atlantic to ski in Zermatt, and having Juraj there is a big part of why it’s always worth it—I’m already looking forward to the next trip. 5.00Henry was great with our beginner group of 3 kids and 1 adult. My eldest has DCD so a patient teacher was essential and Henry delivered. The kids really enjoyed their day, would highly recommend.

5.00Small and very fine ski school in Zermatt. The team at Juraj is very dedicated, friendly and accommodating. Timo is a top ski instructor! Even though I have been skiing for 54 years, I was able to learn a few things from him.

5.00Recently visited Zermatt with my Aunt for a wonderful girls trip. Henry was our delightful ski instructor and was so patient and knowledgeable not only about improving our skiing but also the most suitable runs and areas to take us on depending on the weather to ensure that we had an amazing days! His guidance, knowledge and overall friendly nature ensured that we had the most amazing week. Thank you so much Henry for what was a fabulous week and hopefully we will be able to ski together again soon!

5.00The classes with Juraj were amazing! He is extremely patient, super technical and with a lot of experience in teaching. Speaks English perfectly! I highly recommend his ski lessons and certainly if I return to Zermatt I would take lessons with him again!

5.00I have been lucky enough to find a wonderful team of professionals in this sport. I appreciate every piece of advice, patience and totally understandable ways to take courage. I took a class with the SnowScapes SKY team and the truth is that it was a great experience, the evolution I perceived was significant fast and with the intention of learning more. Always and at all times we thought about the safety of one and the environment of the slopes, which gives a lot of peace of mind. In my case, they knew how to vary with many practical and fun exercises to gain confidence and dexterity little by little from the bases of the concepts and postures until they achieved an improved style according to the starting point. Juraj and his team always focused on evolution, safety and practicality when explaining the different concepts. I will repeat the return and recommend 100% for friends, families and people of all ages! Thank you very much 🫂

5.00This was my first time skiing in Zermatt, and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Juraj. I took two half-day lessons with him, and by the end I felt confident, comfortable, and actually excited to ski on my own. Juraj is incredibly patient, kind, and encouraging, which made a huge difference as a beginner. He explained things clearly and always made sure I felt safe and supported. He even helped me ski to Chex Vrony for lunch so I could meet up with my group—above and beyond! Truly a 5 out of 5 experience!!!!! I highly recommend Juraj to anyone, especially first-time skiers.
