Grab your friends, round up the family, and follow the red umbrella through Soho's backstreets — the neighbourhood that gave the world Ella Fitzgerald, the Beatles, and the Sex Pistols, and still hides a good story on every corner.
This is a private tour, just your group and a local guide who actually lives here. No merging with strangers, no fixed script. We'll walk you past the clubs where legends were made, the flat where the Beatles nearly signed their first deal, and the street where a teenage Mozart once lived. Along the way, expect a few surprises: Karl Marx, Casanova, and a Soho ghost story or two.
Tell your guide what your group's into, more music history, more scandal and gossip, more photo stops, and they'll shape the walk around you.
Good for: birthdays, reunions, family visits, "we're in London for the weekend and want to actually see something" days out.

Becky was a great guide!!! I would highly recommend this tour. It took the full 2 hours, and we saw a lot of cool parts of Soho. Becky gave great history of London, Soho, rock and roll, and MORE! You have to take the tour to get the tea 😉

We had Big Ben as a guide and we enjoyed his stories. He was very well understood by us Dutch and knew a lot to tell. Ben told with humor and could also tell a lot about the history of London. We really enjoyed it and can really recommend this tour!

The tour was really interesting and the guide, Kevin was excellent, a combination of history of the area and architecture and of course some great rock and roll stories with a bit of singing thrown in at no extra cost. The sites on the visit were really good and nice stories about them thank you kevin

We recently joined the Rock n Roll Free Walking Tour with Kevin, and it absolutely rocked from start to finish! Kevin was funny, full of stories, and somehow managed to make 2 hours feel like 20 minutes. From legendary music history to hidden Soho secrets, every stop had us enthralled. The tour was super easy to follow, relaxed, and accessible for everyone — no hardcore rock knowledge required! If you love music, London, or just a genuinely entertaining afternoon, I’d highly recommend it. We’re already talking about booking another tour in London.

Rob was an incredibly enthusiastic guide who was genuinely interested in the subject matter which made it that much more fascinating to learn about. I had no idea there was so much influential rock and roll history in such a small area in London. Walking around Soho and hearing the origin stories and venues that launched so many classic rock legends was captivating to say the least, and Rob’s authentic and gregarious personality only added to the charm of the tour. 10/10, highly recommend to anyone especially music lovers.
