This was a pleasant little tour on the river. The boat is not very big, which means you have a good view from any seat. If there is something to see, you will see it. The captain/guide was very knowledgeable and informative. We did see a couple of crocodiles in the wild; one adult female and a baby of no name (not together). Anyone expecting lots of action might be disappointed. Crocodiles don't do much, at least not daytime. But it's nature, and they are wild animals. Animals that could, when they grow up, inflict very serious damage. So, even from the safety of the boat, there is a lot of respect and fascination for these magnificent animals. It's not the ultimate safari experience, it is interesting rather than exciting, but it's a nice and affordable way to spend an hour with a very good chance of spotting a croc or two.

We did not see any crocodiles as it was very hot the morning we took the trip, which we were advised about. We could not return as it was our last day in Daintree. The guide was very quiet and not very enthusiastic. No ad hoc knowledge about the river or bird life, to fill in the gaps.

Enjoyable boat trip on the Daintree River. Sadly we didn't see any crocodiles due to it the river being high and the temperature of the water too warm. We did however see a little kingfisher which was nice and the chat from our guide was very entertaining and informative. We were offered a free trip on a different date but we could not fit this into our schedule.

Our guide was rude and didn’t seem very interested in us as guests. He didn’t seem very interested in telling us about the wildlife.

Dave & Dougie gave us a great 2 hour trip. Within 10 minutes we saw Nate, a huge saltwater crocodile 🐊. Dave’s knowledge is unsurpassed & Dougie is the most friendly pet 🐶. Would thoroughly recommend if you want to try & see a 🐊.

really enjoyed the crocodile cruise! we saw two tiny crocodile hatchlings so their policy allows you to come back for free if you don’t see the bigger crocs. Luckily our itinerary was flexible so we came back the next day and saw two adults as well as two hatchlings. Mark the guide was very engaging and it felt soo ethical, even staying away from the other boats when it got a little crowded for the crocs, he really had their best interests at heart as we’re in their home.

Made a last minute booking for family to spend an afternoon in Port Douglas. The trip was just as described, perfect relaxing ride around the Daintree River. Even though it was in warm November and we were warned that the crocs may be in deeper water, we were still lucky enough to catch one in the shallows! From the outset, the hosts advised that we were welcome to come back another day for free if we didn't see a croc

The best way to see crocs in QLD! Thanks to Mark for an informative cruise! Despite not being the best season we were lucky to see two baby crocs and Charlotte. As well as herons and the stunning river scenery.
