You will explore this historic spa resort town with a local architect learning the ins and outs of the charming community of Sopot. From the longest wooden pier in Europe to a Villa where Chopin visited and played, you will be amazed and inspired throughout the tour. You will hear fun stories and be presented with facts which relate to the development from a fishermen village to a glamorous spa resort well known all over Europe in the 1920-30s. I am a certified tour guide of the Sopot Tourist Association. My family has been settled here since March 1945 and I offer you a private experience. Let’s take a tour! It can be a walking tour, but it is quite easy to rent bikes and take a bike tour. The bike tour is also fun and you can see even more! I will help you with pleasure with the rental:)

What To Expect

Bohaterow Monte Cassino

The first pedestrian street in Poland, famous all over the country even today. Back in the time it was the main road to the sea and the fishermen of the small village of Sopot used to take it to go to the sea. There are a lot of stories to tell and I will show you historical pictures so you can see how the center of Sopot has changed over the centuries.

Dworek Sierakowskich

An 18th century building, former guest house of a big manor house. The interiors are interesting, it has a nice back garden, you will like the authenticity of a calm location off the beaten track. You will find here a bust of Fryderyk Chopin as he very probably stayed here when being on holiday and played piano.

I really enjoy Agnieszka's tours of Sopot and the surrounding area. As a local, she shares many interesting details about the city and its residents. The tours were in Polish, but very understandable even for those who don't speak Polish well, or you can use Google Translate.

Sightseeing in Sopot with Agnieszka Lasota was... fantastic! 🌊🚶‍♂️✨ I learned lots of interesting things 🤩📖 and Ms. guide took us to unusual places 🏰🌿 that surprised even those who thought they knew Sopot well 🎭🔍. The walk could have lasted at least twice as long ⏳, because despite the cold and the wind ❄️🌬️ I didn't feel tired at all - every story was engaging! 🔥🎤 I highly recommend it to everyone! 🏙️❤️ Worth seeing Sopot from a new perspective! 👀🚢

Very nice and highly qualified guide. She showed magical and forgotten places in Sopot. She talked about the architecture of the buildings, the history of the city, the people. She shared her enthusiasm for the city. She establishes contact with the group very well. Open and direct, professional. I definitely recommend trips with this lady, not only in Sopot.

Agnieszka gave us an incredible guided tour of Gdansk. Knowledgeable, funny and inspiring, she took us on a walking tour of the city and we got to see all the impressive buildings and sites. I recommend everyone to take her guided tour who is interested in Poland, Gdańsk history and architecture.

The day with pani Agneszka is still in my head- I saw so many beautiful buildings, full of interesting stories, and paid attention to details, which never noticed, though have been to Sopot many times. Now this unique city became even more close to my heart.
