This excursion is designed for people who are certified divers. We will meet at one of the lovely dive sites located in the Wailea/Makena area of South Maui. We will have a safety briefing, and afterwards go out on an underwater adventure. Highlights of dives here include turtles, rays, sharks, eels, crustaceans, and lots of tropical fish and reefs. Pictures of your excursion are included. A second dive at a second dive site may be added as well for a fee.

Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended.

Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive

5.00Michael with Never Dry Divers is our go-to guy on Maui! He is always happy and engaging and genuinely loves diving. His service is wonderful, always helping me with the little things he knows I need due to a physical limitation. We dive with Michael multiple times a year and can't recommend him enough. Even better, if you decide you want to progress from a shore dive to a boat dive, but really love diving with Michael, he can hook you up with a dive boat and come along as your personal guide. Nothing makes you feel more special than that!

5.00I had the pleasure of diving with NeverDry over the holidays and it was an absolutely phenomenal experience. We were a group of 4, 2 adults and two children (10 yrs old) and we were completing our OW certification. From the start we found that Jenny and Michael were extremely accommodating and professional when booking our dives, full of great tips and recommendations. On the day of our dive Michael made some adjustments to our location to make sure we had the best experience. Michael is easily one of the best dive masters I have encountered! Extremely knowledgeable, patient and made sure that we all had a wonderful time while always prioritizing safety. The kids loved the experience and really connected with him. On top of being a top notch dive master he also doubles as a photographer. We walked away with a gallery full of amazing shots of our group which we continuously look back to in awe. NeverDry is a highly recommended experience and we can’t wait to be back.

5.00Had an amazing OW training experience with Michael! He’s super reliable, patient and detail oriented. During the training we can easily tell how nice he is both to people who might have trouble/risk under water and also for the marine life we encountered. It’s really a pleasure to spend 4 dives with him and we view ourselves lucky to have him as our first scuba diving instructor!

5.00From the moment we traveled to Maui we wanted to do diving and surfing the Internet we found this Enterprise. From the booking they have been very attentive to everything always, both Jenny asking us everything to know what we wanted, to Mike for being an excellent guide. They are a great team, I do not know if there are more instructors or people who make up the Enterprise, but my experience with them has been 10. The place of the dive to which Mike took us incredible, is very easy accessed by the beach and you can see all kinds of animals. Experience 100/10. I recommend them one and a thousand times, continue being such good people!! Mahalo 🤙🏻🤙🏻

5.00My wife and I did a shore dive with Never Dry Divers this week. Since we haven't been diving a lot over the years, my wife was reluctant. Our guide was Rose and she was great. No pressure, patient, accommodating, and fun. We had two great dives and my wife is willing to go again!
Great First Official Dive

5.00I signed up as a solo diver with a group of just 5 divers plus the dive master, Matt. What an amazing experience! This was my first official dive, as I just got certified in January. We walked from the shop to the broken pier, and had an incredible shore dive. We saw sea turtles, white tip sharks, eels, and an abundance of fish and other creatures. DM Matt regularly checked in on all of us to make sure we were ok which really put me at ease. After several oxygen checks, we started back to shore and we battled a wicked current. I fell a bit behind so Matt gave me a tow line and swam/pulled me in. Once at the shore, the surf was pretty rough and I couldn’t get out of the water with all my gear on. I felt really embarrassed and apologized several times but Matt was super supportive and told me I didn’t need to apologize- he then helped me take my gear/tank off and he carried my tank while another diver assisted me out of the surf. I can’t say enough about how positive an experience my first official dive was. Everyone at Dive Maui was friendly and helpful and put me at ease when I was nervous about the dive. I would definitely recommend this shop for any level diver.

5.00I ended up being the only one my morning and that was perfect. It’s been a long while since I dove and I’ve never been in an area with as much water movement as this, and a couple times water visibility got poor enough it made me nervous when we were moving from one area to another, but Mike was patient with me. There was a lot to see and I got a lot of bottom time. We ventured into a couple small caves where lots of turtles were resting and swimming around (also a reef shark in one and various other critters) as well as cruising along many reef areas with fish, crabs, coral, etc. We also ventured out a little deeper and found a flatfish among other things. Easy meetup with the guide, newer equipment, catered to my specific needs, super nice and accommodating. You can tell Mike really cares for the environment- he even took the time to untangle a fishing line snagged on some coral. I would definitely recommend this guide and trip.

5.00Mike and Jennie are a wonderful team offering custom curated experience to meet every underwater need. My husband is certified diver and in the past I have gone on dives with tour companies while on holiday. While looking at dive options in Maui I saw Neverdry on Google. After reading reviews I made what feels like one of the greatest decisions of our holiday planning and I emailed Jennie. The entire process was free of stress and all the planning taking care of. We were able to do multiple shore dives and they even made it possible to accomplish a life long dream of my husband to dive Molokini, which the adventure and entire dive was stunning. The services Neverdry provides goes above and beyond any expectation and diving is clearly a passion that they both hold close. Thanks to Mike and his calm presence, completing the skills necessary to become a certified diver built confidence in me. I will eagerly continue my scuba education and work on skill building through repetition. I have gained curiosity in large part because of how exciting and relaxing Mike made the process. Mike holds so much knowledge where to find awesome species and highlighted many incredible marine creatures during dives that I would have missed seeing. A fun and unexpected gesture was receiving an email post dives from Mike sharing beautiful and fun photos (attached a few to this review) of the four dives we completed together which we will treasure for years to come. My husband and I are already looking to book our next dive at our return trip in 2026 and look forward to working with Jennie and seeing Mike in the near future. Thank you!

5.00It had been 15+ years since I had been diving. Mike was very patient and reassuring since I hadn’t been diving for that long. He spent the time to refresh me on the critical areas to know prior to going out. He gave great instructions on what we all needed to know about the dive itself. Once in the water and thereafter he was the ultimate professional. We spent 90+ minutes underwater and saw some incredible sights. It is great to go out with professionals who love what they do and care that your experience is the bet it can be. I would highly recommend Never Dry diving whenever you are in Maui. Thank you Mike for a long lasting memory!
