This service is available on all dates when Royal Caribbean, Oceania, NCL, Celebrity, Princess & Disney cruise ships are visiting Southampton. The service is also available to passengers on other ships if your arrival dates and arrival times coincide with ships listed. Please note you will need to make your own way to the ship we are servicing on that date.

Each person is allowed a maximum of 2 items of hold luggage (75x51x28 cm - 23kg each) and 1 item of carry-on luggage (55x40x20 cm - 10kg each). If you bring extra luggage it will not fit in the vehicle. In this instance you will be responsible for arranging separate transportation for your luggage to your cruise ship.
Should you wish to bring any mobility aids (wheelchairs or walkers) you MUST contact the operator in advance and provide full dimensions and weight. These items must be able to be folded and stored in the luggage hold. Wheelchairs must be counted as 1 item of your hold luggage.

What To Expect
Bibury
Our first stop is in the delightful village of Bibury with its famous collection of houses known as Arlington Row. After meeting your friendly driver and expert guide in Southampton, please take your seats on our luxury coach as we depart northwards into the delightful and much loved Cotswold region of England, famous for its honey coloured stone villages and leafy valleys. Your local guide has a wealth of information about this beautiful part of the world. Learn of the wool trade and how it played an important role in the shaping of the history of the area, and hear how the regions decline as a cloth producer saw the Cotswolds become a sleepy backwater, frozen in time.
Burford
We then drive along meandering lanes and rolling hills to the beautiful village of Burford, where the ancient stone cottages seem to cascade down to the River Windrush. After a guided walk through the town to see the ancient church of St John the Baptist, we will enter a traditional Cotswolds tavern, built in 1402, for a classic pub lunch.

5.00Rob Russell's knowledge and expertise of history, geography, and his use of context in his narration were key to the enjoyment of this excursion. Not only that, his enthusiasm and effervescense were contagious. Learning about places I'd only read about and seen in picture books and videos brought the Cotswolds and Oxford to life. Rob was a great caretaker of our small group througout the tour. I am a return visitor who has used International Friends for tours in the UK and hope to do so again in the future!

5.00The experience was a pleasant surprise. Nigel, our guide, was quite informative about the Cotswolds and he added tidbits about our surroundings while traveling to the area of interest. Our tour ended at Oxford University where he added aspects of his own life growing up in Oxford.

5.00Mark provided an excellent tour of The Cotswolds and Oxford. He was full of interesting information and when he found out I was a CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien fan he made sure I saw places and things related to the two. Highly recommend this tour. The Cotswolds are amazingly beautiful. The meal in Butford was delicious.

4.00It was an amazing tour in Cotswold. Beautiful area. Lunch was good. Oxford tour was confusing. Felt rushed and that part was not so good. The driver was great bringing us to our hotel. He kind of gave us a little tour of London pointing out main places. We appreciated that. Overall it was a good excursion.

5.00I was in a small group of five tourists. Our driver and tour guide were both excellent. We had a comfortable van, and was picked up early after our ship docked in Southampton. Had a lovely day visiting the Cotswold Village, a yummy pub lunch, and visited Oxford University before being dropped off at our hotel.

5.00We have greatly enjoyed our excursion tour to Cotswolds and Oxford with Marek - our tour guide, and Nick - our driver. they were brilliant and they have some good knowledge of Cotswolds and Oxford during the tour. We had the opportunity to visit Cotswolds and Oxford on the same day. Being dropped off to the Horizons cruise terminal after the whole Cotswold and Oxford excursion tour was over was extremely convenient. we went there before we went on our MSC Euribia cruise in April 2025. we really enjoyed it.
