Bibury
Our first stop is in the delightful village of Bibury with its famous collection of houses known as Arlington Row. After meeting your friendly driver and expert guide in Southampton, please take your seats on our luxury coach as we depart northwards into the delightful and much loved Cotswold region of England, famous for its honey coloured stone villages and leafy valleys. Your local guide has a wealth of information about this beautiful part of the world. Learn of the wool trade and how it played an important role in the shaping of the history of the area, and hear how the regions decline as a cloth producer saw the Cotswolds become a sleepy backwater, frozen in time.
Burford
We then drive along meandering lanes and rolling hills to the beautiful village of Burford, where the ancient stone cottages seem to cascade down to the River Windrush. After a guided walk through the town to see the ancient church of St John the Baptist, we will enter a traditional Cotswolds tavern, built in 1402, for a classic pub lunch.

We have greatly enjoyed our excursion tour to Cotswolds and Oxford with Marek - our tour guide, and Nick - our driver. they were brilliant and they have some good knowledge of Cotswolds and Oxford during the tour. We had the opportunity to visit Cotswolds and Oxford on the same day. Being dropped off to the Horizons cruise terminal after the whole Cotswold and Oxford excursion tour was over was extremely convenient. we went there before we went on our MSC Euribia cruise in April 2025. we really enjoyed it.

This small-group tour by minibus was very efficient and comfortable — a great way to see more in a limited time. I only wish we could have spent a few extra minutes at each stop, though it’s understandable that some travelers needed to reach Heathrow by a specific time. Our guide, Marek, was outstanding — clearly well-prepared and very knowledgeable. He shared interesting insights throughout the journey and even sent us photos from the trip afterward, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our driver, Haleskey, was excellent as well — attentive, professional, and always making sure everyone was comfortable and safe. Overall, a well-organized, enjoyable, and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Incredible tour to London, we know old structures that are standing to this day, with right to lunch and many good stories. We landed in the harbor and Marek expected us to follow with the tour in a very large and comfortable van, he demonstrated to have a great knowledge of the region, answered all our doubts and guided us everywhere explaining everything around and the good stories that happened there. I highly recommend this tour, it was much cooler than just going back by train.

Marek did an excellent job job of explaining the history and relevance of the various points of interest. He was very witty and knowledgeable. He provided us time to wander around the Cotswolds and Oxford. And he even gave us a sampling of the trout creme/spread from the local area to try on bread. It was very delicious and had a delicate taste! He even took photos of us and lugged around my suitcase I purchased on the fly at the Covered Market! He was outstanding and brilliant!! Highly recommend Marek as he was very funny and friendly as well as very knowledgeable!!!

This trip was exactly as advertised. Had a good guide, Robert, who was very personable and knowledgeable. Had a good amount of time in each location. Lunch was delicious. The shuttling back to our hotel process was a bit hectic but worked out.

This tour was absolutely outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to see the Cotswald area and Oxford. Our tour guide Marek and driver Paul were outstanding. The Cotswald area was just delightful. We had time to walk around and see everything in Bilbury at our leisure and then onto Burford for an amazing tour of St. John the Baptist Church and delicious lunch at the pub. And then on to Oxford and oh my goodness the geek in me was just blown away. Marek knew that I was a fan of fantasy works by Tolkien, CS Lewis and Lewis Carroll and made sure to point out references to those authors and their lives at Oxford their locations and other hideaways for them and many other famous figures that embrace the grounds. As well as mentioning different locations that have been used in TV and films like Harry Potter and such. The pace of the tour was enough that me with my not so great knees could keep up and my teenagers were also both educated and entertained.

This tour was by far the best experience of all our tours this trip. Marek was an amazing guide full of history and information and our driver Paul got us in and out of the areas safety and effectively. We toured Bilbury, had lunch and shopping after seeing an amazing church in Burford, and then saw sight after sight after sight in Oxford - and so much more we will have to return to see on another visit. Marek showed us places frequented by figures for politics, history, literature, science. And arts - some of my favorites like CS Lewis, Tolkien, and filming sites from Harry Potter and other great cinematics. Amazing day of so much to see!! (And yes the pub lunch was tasty too)
