We offer plenty of time to order and pay for cocktails and spirits along the way.
We try very hard to accommodate guests with dietary issues, and especially food allergies but please remember, some restaurants have limited items available.
Tours are 3-hour tasting and walking tours where you will enjoy an exciting food tasting experience while walking through the squares and historic district of the Hostess City of the South. Tours are suitable for all ages.

What To Expect
Savannah Historic District
Our team has been doing guided walking tours of Historic downtown Savannah for over 20 years. After many years previously spent in Savannah's culinary scene, it made sense to combine the two. Savannah's foodie seen has really taken off and we wanted to showcase our own spin of Southern Flavors. While strolling through the city squares and Historic District of Downtown. This is how Southern Flavors of Savannah was born.
Historic River Street
Our WALKING tours cover the areas between Broughton Street and River Street. Our goal is to give you a small taste of some of your new Savannah favorites. We have a diverse food culture that spotlights more than just our southern cuisine. Our tour includes flavors from around the world offered by a plethora of restaurants available here in our Hostess city. You will have a full day of flavors as you indulge in 6 different locations to give you a taste of our favorite foods in town. We will show off some local gems that shine in that southern sun. In around 3 hours, you will have a whole new idea of Southern flavors and Savannah charm. As you walk, you will learn about Savannah’s long and fascinating history as Georgia’s hostess city of the South. From the first wooden ships to cross the Atlantic Ocean, to the city’s secret history, we will talk all things Savannah. Due to the number of restaurants Savannah has to offer, our stops are often rotated.

2.00Well the tour wasn’t all that great. Our tour guide Christine was ok nothing memorable, unmotivated. We had a total of (6) food stops. Bagel shop was first, received a cold hard bagel. Stopped at a raunchy bar next where we had a fried green tomato, which was ok. Proceeded to a sports bar where a flat bread with toppings was given. Can’t comment on the food here because the waitress skipped us. Seafood restaurant was good yet I guess they forgot we were coming since we had to wait outside the restaurant and our sample was brought out to us while we stood in the hallway. The next stop was at yet another raunchy bar where we received a cold pulled pork slider. The last food stop was the best. Peach cobbler with ice cream at the Peach Cobbler Factory, excellent!! Overall I would not take this tour again nor would I recommend it.

5.00Christina was the best guide! She made our experience fun and exciting and was very knowledgeable about Savannah history. She was accommodating for my husband who uses a cane and needed to sit occasionally. She found spots with benches for him to take a rest as we made our way the downtown. Excellent food tour! Would 💯 recommend.

3.00A little disappointed in this tour. I've been on a few other food tours in different cities, but this one lacked any background/fun facts about the places we went and food we ate. I felt the tour guide was on auto-pilot just rapid firing her dialog at each stop. She really didn't interact with anyone. Kind of a bummer.

3.00My husband and I toured with guide Christine and a mother and teen son. So, a very small group. The day was beautiful and we enjoyed being outdoors. We walked alot! The tour left us wanting much more. While the food offered was beautifully presented and delicious, we wanted more history. Much. More. We did the nonstop trolley tour the evening before and got a lot more information.
