Join our truly small-group foodie tour limited to just 8 exclusive guests each day. There's no two ways about it, the food in Phuket is sublime. Perhaps that's why is was crowned the 'Thailand City of Gastronomy 2017' by UNESCO. This melting pot of Thai, Chinese, Malay and Burmese food certainly warrants a few hours away from the beach. There's no better way than diving into the hidden street eats in Phuket Old Town. You'll spend 4 hours with your foodie guide delving into the secrets behind the island's flavours. You'll make plenty of stops to mop up Burmese curries with wood-fried naans at a tucked away workers teashop, practise your chopstick skills on a bowl on the best bowl of Hokkien noodles in town and indulge in crispy roti dipped in creamy massaman curry, among a dozen more mouth-watering Phuketian culinary delights. You won't find food like this anywhere else on the island.

Old Phuket Town
This island and old trading post has got some serious food pedigree. Influences from all over Asia and beyond have evolved the dishes here into something truly original. That's why Phuket Town was crowned 'City of Gastronomy 2017' by UNESCO. While it's tempting to be a beach bum, those who drag themselves off the sand discover the secrets behind the island's flavours in small groups of up to 8 exclusive guests. Forget pad Thai and green curry, that's central Thai fare. We don't want to spoil the surprise, but prepare to drool as you mop up morsels with wood-fired naan, slurp bowls of smokey Hokkien noodles, work chopsticks over poh pia rolls smothered in rich tamarind sauce among many more lip-smackingly good tastings in places you'd struggle to find alone.

Our food tour with Lucky was absolutely fantastic! She is funny, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring, making everyone feel welcome and comfortable from the moment the tour started. Her passion for the local food scene and culture really shined through, and I learned so much while enjoying some amazing food along the way. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, and Lucky shared interesting stories, local insights, and recommendations that made the experience even more special. She kept the group engaged, entertained, and well taken care of throughout the tour. A special shoutout to Jack and the two beautiful Susans—it was wonderful meeting such lovely people and sharing this experience together. Great food, great company, and lots of laughs made for an unforgettable day. Overall, this tour exceeded my expectations. Lucky made it fun, informative, and memorable, and I was a little sad when it ended. If you’re looking for a food tour that combines delicious food, local culture, and an amazing guide, this is the one to book! Highly recommended!

This was a great foodie tour. We got to experience dishes from China, Malaysia, Thailand and even a local Phuket dessert. Our guide Lucky was very knowledgeable about the food history and influences from the different cultures. Every restaurant and food stall we went to was a multi-generational family restaurant with some recipes going back 100 years. In addition to teaching us about the food, Lucky shared stories about local culture and daily life. We enjoyed the food and the tour immensely. I would highly recommend this tour company and Lucky as a guide. Go hungry - there’s lots of food on this tour!

Awesome day out. Gigi is an excellent guide with an easy and friendly approach. We divided into some very different places that you won’t find by just walking around, and the food was excellent. Local food not the tourist stuff. Along the way Gigi provided insights into the history of Phuket and its population diversity that influence today’s local eating styles. Really enjoyed it

I did this tour 2 years ago and had such a great time that I came back and did it again! The restaurants were almost completely different the second time - and I enjoyed it just as much the second time around! You get to taste local food you would never be able to try as a tourist as you just wouldn't know where to look to find it. Ms. Lucky was very funny and taught us heaps about the history and languages in the area, and she introduced us to the owners along with the origin story of the restaurants. I would give it 11/10 if I could. Thanks Ms. Lucky!

Absolutely worth every dollar we spent. Our guide Ms Lucky was just wonderful and such a joy to spend some of our morning and afternoon with. We had lot's of laughs along the way. We particularly liked that we learnt some history along with the food cultures. At the end of the tour we knew so much more about Phuket, Thailand, the local geographical region, and of course the food! We were shown around some market stalls and got to know more about the ingredients used in the food we were eating as well. Ms Lucky has great English so we didn't have any trouble understanding anything, which was a big bonus as we'd been on some other tours in Phuket where the guides were nice but we couldn't really understand them. Food was of course fantastic, we didn't feel unwell at all afterwards - but I would recommend taking lots of probiotics on the days leading up to the tour so foreigners can improve their gut biome before eating lots of new microbes. Our favourite were the breakfast noodles! Thank you so much Lucky you were awesome!
