Great day out discovering the history of Ballarat at Sovereign Hill. Volunteer guides and period costumes help with authenticity. Guides are very knowledgeable and helpful. Margaret was a excellent tour guide.

This is a great operator to tour with. They were very accommodating as we had a wheelchair person with us. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The trip to and from Sovereign Hill was smooth and the guide Margaret was excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable and bubbly. We had a great time. Good one Margaret!

Absolutely brilliant trip. Peter, our driver, was very friendly and knowledgeable all day. He even informed us where to eat at the end of the trip in Melbourne telling us where to find the different cuisines. Elaine, our local guide at Sovereign Hill, was able to answer my many questions as my ancestors went to the Gold Rush. She was so informative and was able to give me further advice on where to find information regarding the Gold Rush era. Going down the mine was a real eye opener as to what life was like for the miners. Our visit to Ballarat town at the end was a relaxing end to our trip. A thoroughly enjoyable day and very highly recommended.

Brilliant day out to sovereign hill and a drive around Ballarat . Small group in a mini bus with our guide Gary who loved the day as much as us. The queue on arrival was enormous, but we jumped straight to the front with our guide. The underground mine tour was amazing and we learnt all about the history of the gold rush. We had an hour free time at lunch to explore. Must do activity for all ages if you are staying in Melbourne.
