  We booked the morning tour to Yala national park and had an awesome day! Our driver Srimal treated the animals with respect and put effort into keeping a reasonable distance as well as approaching them slowly.   It was a incredible experience, we got to see the leopard, elephant and so much more. Sriram was so good to us, he's very passionate about animals and we were very well looked after 🙏🏼

  I went on a morning safari tour with Amila. He was very kind and professional. Gave us briefing before it started. Was patient to try and wait for a leopard to come out from the forest as he knew we wanted to see it. He is also knowledgeable about wildlife behaviour and tried to explain it to us. Breakfast was great with local hoppers and samabl. Thank you for the great experience!

  Unforgettable Yala Safari – Thanks to Srimal! We did a half-day safari today in Yala National Park, and it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Our guide, Srimal, was superb. He put in so much effort to make sure we saw as many animals as possible, and his knowledge and determination really made the difference. We were incredibly lucky with our sightings. The highlight was seeing Lucas, the main male leopard, sitting in a tree before climbing down — a truly magical moment. We also had a fantastic encounter with a sloth bear, which we know is quite rare, and saw a small herd of elephants with a baby drinking at the river. On top of that, we spotted many more amazing animals throughout the safari. It was an experience we will never, ever forget. A huge thank you to Srimal and Janaka Safari for such a memorable day - highly recommended!

  Ish was an exceptional driver and tour guide through the park. We spotted 3 leopards, a mongoose, owl, Tucan and loads of other animals. Highly recommend for yala tour

  Ish was a wonderful tour guide and we had such a fantastic experience with him. I would highly recommending this activity for anyone who wants to see leopards, elephants and many other animals in Yala. We had a small tour of two guests which made the atmosphere very personable. Ish explained everything to us and his driving was so great, we got to see so many animals up close! Thank you Ish very much

  We did a half-day morning group safari with Ish and we had a fantastic time! As we arrived third in row before opening, we were able to get to see leopards right at the beginning of the safari from a premium "seat". Ish also asked us what we wanted to prioritise: leopards for the first couple of hours or any animal. As you never know, we wanted to prioritise leopards, so it was a bit of a rush at the beginning to get to a good spot but was definitely worth it and we didn't feel like the animals were disturbed (not by us at least). Ish always educated us about the animals we saw and always checked in with us. Ish also took some pictures with a professional camera so we are excited to see them. Also, just for honesty, the drive to the park itself isn't for the faint-hearted as it's about getting to the park as early as possible and depending on where you are it can be a bit of a distance. I get the point, however, I would prefer to get picked up earlier and have a more relaxed journey to the park. The company was recommended to us by two other German girls we met the night before who did some research and we trusted their instincts and weren't disappointed.

  We had an absolutely amazing safari experience with Srimal in Yala National Park! From the very beginning, he made a real effort to avoid the crowds and took routes that most other drivers didn’t choose — which made a huge difference. Thanks to his deep understanding of animal behavior and his ability to read their signals, we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and enjoy the sighting almost entirely to ourselves. That was a truly unforgettable moment! Srimal shared a lot of interesting information about the animals and the park, and you could really tell how experienced and passionate he is. His ability to spot wildlife is seriously impressive. We honestly couldn’t have been happier with this tour. Highly recommended — if you’re going on safari in Yala, Srimal is the one you want!
