You will see the splendid panoramas of Etna, you will admire the town of Savoca where the most suggestive scenes of the film The Godfather were filmed and you will go shopping and walk in the historic Taormina full of restaurants, street food and souvenir shops.

What To Expect
Mount Etna
After taking the highway we will begin our walk of about 1 hour and 30 minutes until we reach 2000 m at the famous Rifugio Sapienza, here Free walk on the Silvestri craters, from where you can take breathtaking photos. Short break at a farm for a small free tasting of typical Sicilian products such as honey, olives, wine, limoncello, olive oil with bread.
Corso Umberto
You will have 2 hours of free time to visit the ancient Greco-Roman street Corso Umberto full of attractions such as Piazza IX Aprile full of bars and restaurants, go shopping in the numerous shops or visit the Greek Theatre

5.00Our tour guide, Sonia was outstanding. Her driver was excellent. She customized the tour to meet our needs and offered excellent advice. The parts of Sicily we visited were beautiful! Definitely want to return. The only complaint I had, which hasn’t nothing to do with Sonia who I can’t emphasize enough was amazing, was that the seats in the van that faced back were an issue. A few in our group got car sick in the bumpy windy roads. Facing the back I couldn’t appreciate the scenery. Definite fail. Would definitely use Sonia again, but in a different vehicle.

5.00This private tour was terrific. Sonja and Giancarlo (our driver) were accommodating guides making the day a great experience. We were picked up in a comfortable van, on time at the cruise ship and returned to the ship with time to spare. Throughout the day they asked us where we wanted to stop and guided us with allotted time frames so we could accomplish everything we wanted to see and do. Sonja was knowledgeable, professional and a joy to spend the day with. We went to the small town( Savoca) where part of The Godfather was filmed (now I will have to watch the movie again!). Also, if you are going to Mount Etna I would suggest a coat! I would definitely suggest this tour!

5.00Sonja & Giancarlo were terrific guides on a real fun tour. They picked us up on time & were at each stop on time. We had plenty of time without getting rushed along. Back at the dock with time to spare. We shared stories & chatted thru the day. They were professional & enjoyable, couldn't ask for a better team. The stops were good, beautiful places with lots of history. Definitely a tour to take part in.

5.00Filipino and Erika were great! We were able to see so much and learn about the history and stories of Sicily from Erika while Filipino navigated the narrow streets. The tour made the most of our time at shore in the comfort of a luxury van.

The Etna, Taormina, and Savoca tour is absolutely wonderful, with breathtaking scenery and unforgettable places. Erika is an amazing guide – knowledgeable, kind, and passionate – while Filippo is a fantastic driver, always professional and friendly. Together they make the perfect team. Both times we had an incredible experience, and our friends were just as impressed. Truly unforgettable and highly recommended!

5.00Our tour with Sonia was fabulous. First of all there is nothing better than a private tour instead of the bus tours the cruises offer. No comparison and the difference in price you make up for in comfort and time saving. You can skip what you don’t want to see add what you do want. Sonia was a fabulous guide. Very interesting and informative not long winded and boring like others we have experienced. Wonderful to have a cold vehicle waiting for you especially exploring when it was so hot. The driver was top notch. Safe and had a great personality too. Etna was beautiful. Fun area to explore. It was crazy windy the day we went but that was even enjoyable after all the heat through out our journey. Taormina is charming and unspoiled I hope it stays that way. A warm welcome after Rome. Absolutely beautiful area. We all really enjoyed this excursion and highly recommend it. For those of you worried about missing the boat. Don’t they took into consideration the entire trip the time we needed to be back without rushing any of the experience.

5.00Sicily Best tours did not disappoint! We were a group of 5 adults and had Sonia as our guide. We visited Mt. Etna, Taormina and Savoca. Sonia was exceptional. As a cruise passenger we had specific time requirements which she managed beautifully. Sicily is stunning and experiencing it in a private van with a guide was the perfect day for us!
