What To Expect
Your Melbourne dinner cruise starts at Southbank Promenade on the southern side of the Yarra River. Hop aboard the Spirit of Melbourne — your fully enclosed floating restaurant — and set off up the river. As you cruise along the Yarra, admire the lights of the city and pass by waterfront attractions like Flinders Station, Federation Square, the Royal Botanic Gardens, AAMI Park, Rod Laver Arena and Riverside Park. Your 4-course dinner is prepared by expert chefs and matched with premium Australian wines. While you dine, enjoy attentive service and the lively yet romantic atmosphere. Choose from a variety of beverages such as beer, spirits, and red, white or sparkling wine, and end your meal with a glass of port or a liqueur. Your unique dinner experience ends when you return to Southbank Promenade. **The Cruising Restaurant may sometimes operate on the Yarra Countess and the Yarra Empress, depending on demand, weather, major events, river closures, and tides** ** Valentines Weekend - $220 per adult**

5.00From our welcome to the end of the night a memorable experience. To sit at our cosy, private table with a glass of champagne and an entree platter began the evening. All of the food was beautifully cooked and presented to us seamlessly by our elegant hostess. The service from all attendants was first-class without being intrusive. There was no overpowering loud music and we loved the ever changing views as we sailed on the Yarra.

5.00Thoroughly enjoyed our cruise this weekend for our anniversary. The food was lovely and there was plenty of it, the included drinks flowed very freely. The staff on this cruise were absolutely wonderful, so friendly and super attentive. Being Moomba and Grand Prix weekend the river and the city was alive which added even more charm to the whole experience. Highly recommended!

5.00Two couples celebrating birthday and anniversary. Good time had by all. First time cruising on the iconic Yarra River. Expected to see some wonderful sights but what blew us away was the meal and service. Had no expectation that the food was going to be "high end", and it certainly was! In addition, besides the "Welcome aboard drinks, drinks of any sort were freely available. Hostess on the upper deck was friendly, attentive and always had a smile for us. Another pleasant surprise was the fun bit of having to duck under the overhead bridges as the upper deck roof had to be lowered because of rising tide when sailing downstream back to dock. As an advocate of good customer service, Melbourne River Cruises certainly exceeded my expectations and everyone in our party. Whether you are a local or visitor, you will not be disappointed. Lastly, this was a rebook and the administration (Satya) was super helpful. Thank you.

5.00The weather was a perfect summers night. No jackets necessary. Arrived at the dinner boat to some super friendly service which lasted all night long. Bumped in to some overseas tourists who asked lots of questions. Food was worth tasting. Beer and spirits available from start to end. Cruising up and down the Yarra River with the Melbourne skyline surrounding us. Great views. Well worth giving this a go sooner rather than later!
