We did the Kids French Quarter Ghost Hunt for my daughter’s 7th birthday, and it was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Jill, was incredible — she’s a former teacher, and it really shows. She kept all the kids completely engaged and excited the entire time, balancing spooky fun with just the right amount of history. The tour was a perfect mix of interesting stories for adults and hands-on fun for the kids. The children loved using the ghost-hunting gadgets and they truly felt like little investigators exploring the French Quarter. It was such a unique and memorable experience, and everyone (kids and parents alike) left smiling and talking about it the rest of the night. I can’t recommend this enough for families looking for something different, educational, and entertaining in New Orleans!

We had such a great experience on the French Quarter Ghost Tour with Jill! She was absolutely wonderful—attentive, patient, and full of personality. We brought our two kids along, and Jill went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable and included the entire time. When my daughter wasn’t feeling her best, Jill didn’t hesitate to offer her an ice pack and kept a kind eye on the kids throughout the tour. That level of care really stood out and made the night so much easier for us as parents. Beyond how great she was with the kids, Jill was also a fantastic storyteller. She brought the history and ghost stories of New Orleans to life with the perfect mix of fun and spooky. The adults were just as entertained as the kids—maybe even more! It’s rare to find a guide who can balance being engaging, funny, and genuinely caring all at once, but Jill did exactly that. We’d highly recommend this tour to families or anyone looking for a memorable way to explore the French Quarter.

We took our 3 and 7 year old kids on this tour and had a great time. There were plenty of interactive things and storytelling for the kids and some fun history for the adults. It was also an appropriate length for their attention spans. Would recommend to others and would go myself again!

I took my niece to try to get her face out of a screen or refrain from saying, “i’m bored” for longer than 5 seconds. I decided to do something that was affordable but also entertaining for her and myself. I looked online and found “Spooky Tour.” Not only did it keep a 13 year old entertained for longer than 5 minutes without a phone… and no youtube videos (thank god.) I was also really impressed at how much fun we had together. As a nola native, (that means that i am a beignet and live on bourbon street) I expected to know most of the information .. well i’m apparently this beignet needed to pay attention better in Louisiana history courses. I learned a lot. We even got to hunt ghost! and not like the ones from my past. It was truly enjoyable to see a child scream when nothing is there. All and all it kept me, a 13 year old, and another group completely interested. We learned, we laughed, and my niece truly enjoyed the experience. She finished it by saying, “i’m glad you made me come to this.”
