  • Good option to see and be in a natural space yet so close to an urban centre

On time departure appreciated. Everything was clear from the get go. James was clear on what to expect. I would say after the first 30 minutes we were all relaxed. Each of the stops were on point. First stop and walk in Tamborine National Park James was consistent in pointing out things to us. Explaining the 'background' noise. I liked that there was a consciousness that we were visitors to the space and we should not be intruders the way he took time to remind us of that. James also was so committed to finding that unusual insect, bird or animal. The visit to the second site where we saw the glow worms was appreciated. The walk through was a bit more than the first, but because we did the loop and stops along the walk you didn't notice it (and i am speaking as a 69 year old person). The stop for lunch, good choice and good that he reminded us to eat first and then do a walk around, something I did not do so I was 3 minutes late to the bus. The highlight at the end of the last stop was that while we were walk about James was definitely at work, and guess what he found us a surprise. Told us where to walk and that he would meet us at the other end. And there we saw it a koala in the wild. Definitely made it even more worthwhile.

James was an amazing guide! (He said he does this tour on Mondays and Fridays only.) He was very knowledgeable and pointed out lots of wildlife and gave us tons of information along the way.

Guide was very knowledgeable, very friendly, made every effort to find different animals and point them out, explained common animals with great details. Shared personal anecdotes that fit the situations we were in. Made great recommendations when we stopped for lunch and light shopping. There are a great number of stairs involved I wasn’t fully aware of which my back wasn’t particularly thrilled with but made it through without dying, so that’s a check in the win column.

  • Rainforest, waterfalls, Kangaroos in the wild oh my!!
