Minneriya National Park

After the lunch you can commence a privet jeep safari at Minneriya national park from 15:00 to 18:30 pm. It is the largest known meeting place of Asian Elephants in the world. Sea Turtle Farm Galle Mahamodara

An amazing facility whose goal is to increase turtle numbers in Sri Lanka by collecting the turtle eggs laid on the beach and reburying them in safer sands until they hatch. They keep the baby turtles for a couple of days before being released back to the ocean. The facility also houses the injured turtles until they are well again (injuries caused by fishing nets, predators etc) and makes a home for the deformed and permanently injured turtles. We were allowed to hold a baby turtle and see an albino turtle.
