Ideal for families, this ghost tour of St. Augustine’s spookiest sites combines light-hearted fun with spine-tingling tales of the city’s past. Alongside a costumed guide, you visit cemeteries, the ground of the Old Fort, and other haunted locations to discover the little-known legends that surround the romantic venue. This tour is limited in order to maintain an atmosphere suitable for the ghost walk.

A Ghostly Encounter’s Storm Policy (as follows)
1. A Ghostly Encounter tours operate rain or shine. Florida weather changes rapidly and is unpredictable, and we monitor our weather prior to all tours.
2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Oldest Wooden School House
Our tour begins and ends at 12 St. George St., St. Augustine Florida. Located next door to the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse.
Castillo de San Marcos National Monument
Join us on the oldest continuously operated walking ghost tour in town. Walk the dark narrow streets of St. Augustine and hear tales of those who came before us and refuse to leave. The Castillo de San Marcos, The City Gate, The Tolomato and Hugenot Cemeteries, as well as some of our favorite hotspots.

1.00Super disappointing and boring. We do ghost tours at each city we visit when we can to learn more about the history of the city and have fun. Our tour guide (woman in pirates outfit, can’t forget her name) was the worst storyteller ever. It honestly seemed like either it was 1) her first day or 2) she would rather be anywhere else. The stories she told were also not real, we fact checked a handful of them and none of them seem to be known by anyone despite her saying everyone talks about them. They were also just so generalized - an orb an a window, a shadow on a wall, etc followed by a photo of a possum in a tree which made us laugh. The thing that ruined the tour was we didn’t actually go to haunted places which usually makes these tours so creepy. We walked to older buildings and then talked about haunts at OTHER places. We stood in a parking lot while she talked about a haunted church 2 blocks away, why didn’t we go to the church? We were ready to leave halfway through, probably the worst “ghost tour” we’ve been on. Judging by the other reviews hopefully it was just this specific tour guide
