The driver I believe his name was Troy… really great and loved his energy.. did an excellent job showing us the sites. Did a fantastic job driving.. I would rate him him a solid 10!! The process to get the actual ticket was frustrating… I had the app and the confirmation number but the employees couldn’t find it in the system. I was advised to buy from the ticket booth in the future. It took several minutes and phone calls to find the reservation. Thankfully the sweet lady in the booth did that for us. This app gave me zero help. Next time we will buy from the booth at the location: your app I give a solid zero.

It's over an hour to get on, and you won't be able to use the hop on/off. At the main trolly station they don't make people get off, so the line gets insane and people push through you to cut the line. At every stop, people beg the driver to send another trolly saying they have been waiting for hours at pickup points, you can't hear the tour driver over people's loud, constant conversation to each other in different seats and blaring personal music on their phone. Staff have zero control over this tour.

This trolley tour will likely appeal to people who already enjoy guided trolley experiences. For those who don’t typically take this kind of tour, exploring on your own may be just as enjoyable, especially since the town is fairly compact. The main advantage of the trolley is that it takes you to all sites. I had two disappointments. The first was the price. During the holiday period, fares were significantly higher, which was discouraging at the holiday—particularly since the trolleys were completely full. While demand was clearly high, the price increase felt steep. It’s worth noting that there are other options in town that are less expensive. My second concern was the narration. Although I am a native English speaker, I found the delivery very fast and somewhat rote, making it difficult to follow. The microphone quality was good, but the pace and monotone delivery meant I missed a noticeable portion of the information. Visitors whose first language is not English, as well as those who are hard of hearing, may find it challenging to keep up with the commentary. That said, trolley tours can be a convenient way to get an overview of a destination, and this one does offer a meaningful benefit: free parking. In St. Augustine, where parking can be a real challenge, that feature alone may make the tour worthwhile.

The trolley ride through Historic St. Augustine was a win-win. We learned so much about the history and also found it a great way to travel to different points of interests. We had a two day pass and used it frequently.

Although we've ridden on several Old Town Trolley tours in several cities, this trolley is probably one of the easiest to maneuver. With very limited parking and high traffic during the new year's eve week, the trolley is the way to get around in St. Augustine. The fees are very reasonable and the schedules are great, handling the crowds at peak tourist times. The drivers are courteous and narrate very well. We spent five days in St. Augustine and rode the trolley over 5-6 times during two of those days. Our experience was nothing short of wonderful and our best driver out of three was Cajun.

We waited over 40 minutes to board the trolley before eventually giving up. The vendor had oversold tickets, resulting in a chaotic and overcrowded experience.

I know it’s the holidays, but there were two occasions where we waited 15 minutes to get on the trolley and when I got there, it was full.

I would not recommend using this company to buy tickets in advance. We had a family emergency that we had to be called home for and could not use our tickets and neither Viator or the service provider had enough empathy to give us a refund.

Do not buy tickets online, what a mess. Buy at a kiosk. Driver quality varies, dont have anything else to say tripadvisor makes me type.more.
