Remi gave a fantastic tour! He was energetic, fun and so kind and respectful. His knowledge of the history of Bordeaux and wine going back hundreds of years was extraordinary!! Every question was answered in depth. He’s a kind and gentle man. A+!!!! Oh and the lunch was outstanding!!

The activity is interesting to explore the region and know some wines, but, putting everything on the balance, I consider that the value charged is not adjusted to what is actually offered. The chateaux selected were not very special and, in general, did not meet expectations, with the exception of Château Dauzac, where we were extremely well received. The guide was friendly, accessible and demonstrated remarkable knowledge — it was undoubtedly the highlight of the visit. In contrast, the experience at Château Bernateau was quite disappointing. The guide seemed unmotivated, without enthusiasm and nothing captivating. The space given for lunch was uncomfortable and without proper conditions; there was no access to water or wardrobes without having to ask repeatedly. The sandwiches were cold and had no quality compatible with the price paid. Also, there was no coffee available at the end of the meal, nor was there a stop at any place where we could have it. As a constructive critic, I think it would be important to review the selection of chateaux included in the activity — replacing, from now on, Château Bernateau — and to provide a more comfortable, organized and coherent lunch with the amount charged. Overall, the price-quality ratio was very low. We feel we paid too much for what we were offered.

We found the activity interesting to explore the region, but we thought the chateaux chosen would be more impactful. We really liked the chateau Lauzac, an engaging space, proof and guide, which demonstrated knowledge and captured everyone’s interest. At Château Bernateu, where the lunch took place, the guide was not integrated with the group and the explanation was quick and unenthusiastic. The lunch at this Château was weak and with little comfort, we were counting on something superior. Overall, we liked the experience, but we had higher expectations regarding the amenities and selection of the Châteaus.

Remy, the guide, is wonderful. He is knowledgable and informative. I learned a lot about france, history and wines from him during the tour. If any questions beyond his knowledge, he will try his best to find the answer for the question. Highly recommended.

A fantastic wine tour - our guide Remi elevated the experience through his explanations along the way between wineries. There was plenty of wine and the lunch was also delicious. It was a great opportunity to learn about the winemaking in the area and taste a variety from different producers. Well worth the cost and a full day out. A must do!
