This was a long day, but we got to experience a lot! We went to Murano first, then Burano. Our guide was very knowledgeable and appeared to enjoy her job. We had approximately 30 minutes before the St. Mark's tour began, so "lunch" was a quick "grab-and-go" sandwich we found. Be aware, the seagulls are super aggressive and wife was dive bombed by a seagull trying to get her sandwich which was peeking out of her bag about 1/2"! Our guide for the next portion was very animated and knew his history! St. Mark's Basilica is gorgeous, Doge's Palace was filled with paintings and the guide brought them to life for us. He stopped at various spots which allowed us to take photos. The 30 minute gondola ride began/ended about a block from St. Mark's Square. Would definitely recommend this tour, but it's a long day!

My husband and I booked the "Ultimate Venice in a Day with Murano and Burano" tour on June 4, 2026. The main reason we selected and paid for this tour was the guided visit to St. Mark's Basilica, which was clearly advertised as part of the itinerary and included in the tour price. The first part of the tour was fine, but when it was time to visit the Basilica, everything fell apart. Our group waited for nearly an hour before another guide informed us that the guide assigned to the Basilica tour had never shown up. Because of this, we missed our timed entry slot and were told there was no way for the group to enter the Basilica. This was extremely disappointing. St. Mark's Basilica was the primary reason we booked this tour and one of the main reasons for our trip to Venice. Instead of offering a solution, an apology, or an alternative arrangement, we were simply told that someone would contact us regarding a refund. As of June 16, 2026, no one has contacted me. No refund has been issued, no follow-up email has been sent, and no apology has been offered. I had to contact the company myself after returning home to explain what happened. The customer service representative stated they would investigate the matter and email me with their findings, but they made no commitment regarding a refund. Since then, I have received no communication whatsoever. A reputable tour company should take responsibility when it fails to provide a major advertised portion of a tour. Missing St. Mark's Basilica was not a minor inconvenience—it was the highlight of the experience we paid for. Very disappointed with both the handling of the tour and the lack of customer service afterward. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
