Doge's Palace
As you explore the Doge’s Palace, you’ll hear about the wild ways of the Venetian Republic under the rule of elected magistrates. This tour not only showcases the interior of this ornate palace, but also goes in depth about the crime and legal system that was once in place in the city of Venice. Admire classic works of Venetian art and visit Doge’s Palace’s main sights, such as the Grand Staircase and the Bridge of Sighs. You'll even get to see some of the prison cells that were functional during the time of the Venetian Republic.

The tour was divided into two sections. The first part was a boat tour that took us to Murano and Burano island with a nice tour guide (Susanna?). She was very helpful and knowledgeable about Venice and the islands specifically. It was pretty cool to see the glass making demo and the islands being a bit different than central Venice. The second part was a tour of the Doge’s palace and Basilica with a great tour guide with a good sense of humor, Filippo. He was very helpful and attentive to others’ needs, etc, while keeping it light and having a nice flow. Tour caps off with a nice gondola ride. Recommend this highly.

It was a very interesting tour with water taxis to Murano and Burano. Our guide Claudia was wonderful, so full of energy and facts. Burano is actually a much bigger area than Murano. Doge Palace portion seemed a little long and gondola was fun, good start to see Venice.

Roberta was an excellent guide. She seemed to know everything about every place. She was conscious of everyone's needs. The Doge Palace was amazingly beautiful. I highly recommend this tour .

All the guides team were very helpful and informative, but in some parts of the tour for example in Burano time is really short to many things to do but time isn’t enough, otherwise was good. We recommend

This tour is al day long. 9 hours. We toured the main attractions at San Marcos., went on a Gondola ride, and took a nice boat ride to 2 other islands. This was a very organized tour. Our guide for the first half was Marco. He was very knowledgeable and funny. He was very easy to understand and kept the group together well in the large crowds of people. Alessia was our guide for the second half. She was well organized and did a great job as well. You could tell that she enjoyed her job, went out of her way to make sure everyone had a good time. This tour was well worth the money.
