There was so much to see in the Bascilica and Doges Palace. At times we felt a bit rushed. Our guide was knowledgeable and pointed out many things we would not have recognized ourself. Gondola ride was lovely. Our private boat trip to Murano and Burano where also full of knowledge but it was difficult to hear the guide on the boat. Both islands were unique and definitely worth visiting.

This was a fantastic tour! I was a little nervous about having a headset to hear our guide but I had no issues ever hearing our guide and if at any point I got a tad bit of static, I just adjusted the head set with a small twist and no more issue! Our tour guide Philip was extremely knowledgeable of the Doge Palace and St. Mark's basilica. He made the the tour fun and had some great jokes along the way. I could have toured the Doge palace on my own but I really feel like my experience was enhanced having a tour guide to walk me through all the small details of this amazing palace. Our gondola ride was an experience as well. They had us divided up in small groups and we really enjoyed the experience. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the Doge Palace and St. Mark's. Our afternoon tour to Murano and Burano was a whole other experience. It was extremely easy to find where we were supposed to meet our new guides who were so fun and lovely. We boarded a boat that took out to the small islands. On the way we got history on the city and on the islands around us. It was very informative. Murano was BEAUTIFUL and so fun to get to see up close how the glass was made. I was actually happy we took this tour at the beginning of our trip cause I was able to notice Murano glass through out the rest of our stops in Italy. Burano was a little less interesting since I am not huge on lace but still a ton of interesting knowledge on lace and seeing the little city of Burano was very fun. Such colorful houses and a fun little city. Over all we loved our tour to the islands and really appreciated our lovely tour guides with all of their knowledge. If you are visiting Venice, especially for the first time make sure you sign up for this tour, it was well worth it!
