The tour of the Doge was good. Phillipo was a very knowledgeable guide. Luckily he also pointed out sights we would see during the gondola ride. We had heavy rain on the tour day but the 30 minute gondola ride was not cancelled. We actually got hailed on while we were in the gondola. The gondoliers do not sing and do not point out any historical sights as you ride. This was a disappointment. Natalie was our boat guide for Murano and Burano and she was wonderful. She is a local and knew a lot about the area and history. Murano was a disappointment. It was a 15 minutes glass blowing demo and there were so many in the group not everyone could see. The showroom was VERY expensive glass, but if you think about it as a museum, it was interesting. And they had clean restrooms. Burano was a cute town were you could watch a woman who was creating the lace, but there are no restrooms. You have to go into a store to buy coffee or something in order to use one. We spent about $17 for 2 hot chocolates just to use the bathroom because the boat did not have one either.

Nicole was an excellent, not only professional but very straightforward with the important information needed to be shared with first time visitors, like us, me and my wife. Excellent english level oratory for our comprehension.

Mr. G (GOAT) did a very good job providing the tour of Doges Palace and St Mark's. He made it fun, provided good direction, very informative. Nichola was compassionate and thoughtful. She was also very informative. Took time to provide suggestions outside the tour.

I am glad we were able to see all of the sights! The tour of Doge palace was however, waaay too much information and too long. We all lost interest and tired before it was over. Also, checking back in half way after the Murano/ burano half was very unorganized and we couldn’t find the check in person
