Your dark sky experience will take you to one of the iconic landscapes in and around Capitol Reef National Park where you will be treated to a one-of-a-kind tour of the Universe and, as an option, you can take home spectacular professional portraits with you and the landscape surrounding you including the Majestic Milky Way as a backdrop.
Booking instructions: please choose the Stargazing Only option first and select the number of participants. If you also want us to take a professional photo of you with the stars as a backdrop, then go back, choose the other, Stars/Milky Way portrait, and select the number of photos you would like. 5.00This experience was hands down one of the the highlights of our entire Utah trip! The guides were absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. From the start of the hike at pickup the interaction was friendly an upbeat! Thanks, will visit again.

5.00Had a great time stargazing with Mel and Jenny! They picked us up at our AirBNB and took us out to see the stars. Very fun and educational! Loved the pictures Jenny took of us in front of the Milky Way.

5.00Our family had a great time with our guide, Jenny. Got some amazing photos of the family with the beautiful Milky Way as the background. Jenny was awesome and entertaining. She was able to explain the astronomy in a fun way.
Very disappointed with the communication

1.00We called the provider 5 times the day of the excursion and left messages to call us back,we also sent txt and emails to confirm where we were supposed to meet because we were given three locations. No call back. We called Viator and got a rep who didn’t speak English after much effort we were told to meet at Torrey Motel but since she didn’t take our booking number I was unsure,we tried texting Viator and the rep had no luck teaching the provider either. went to the motel and manager knew nothing.got a call at 9:36 pm from the provider saying canceled because of cloud cover.

5.00Full disclosure: our tour was cancelled due to bad weather. But I 100% would want to book with them again. I really appreciated the communication and willingness to try and make a tour work, even with weather not willing. We got a full refund, and again super appreciated their honesty and appreciation of the value of our dollar. These are good honest folks and hopefully we will be back to experience this!
Beautiful Stars in This Area

4.00The stars around Torrey, Utah are absolutely beautiful! The couple who handled the tour (husband drove and talked, wife took pictures and talked) were very pleasant. When we first arrived to photo area, the clouds were covering the Milky Way; however, they spent time talking about other constellations, and we were fortunate that the area mostly cleared enough for our pictures. The pictures turned out really good. My only change would be that I wanted to go to a mountaintop to feel closer to the stars. We basically went to a road near their house where they had set up to photograph. I realize that they know the area, and the stars were pretty, but the view around us was not. My recommendation - find a viewing place that is up higher.

5.00Mel and Jenny were delightful hosts, who were clearly very knowledgeable about the astronomy and astrology of the night sky. The dark sky viewing was stupendous! Hadn’t seen the Milky Way since grade school, so was surprised it was so easy to see still and my family had never seen it before. We really enjoyed the multiple creation myths about the Milky Way and the other constellations. We could go on and on about how great the experience was, but do yourself a favor and book a tour with Mel and Jenny.

5.00Wonderful to see the Milky Way! Weather had been cloudy but Mel and Jenny were able to take us out a little later and we had a great view. they pointed out constellations and the stories behind them. Really nice of them to show us so much! Can’t wait to see the pictures, glad we could do this in a dark sky area
