Our West Coast stargazing tour takes you to a unique stone circle in Los Molinos, offering absolute darkness with the lowest light pollution on the island for a direct, ancient connection to the stars. Led by a certified IAC Starlight Guide, we provide a complete deep space observation experience using professional telescopes & laser-guided star navigation. We’ll identify constellations, planets, Milky Way (seasonal), and distant galaxies. Listen to the sound of the ocean from our sheltered stone circle, which provides a natural amphitheater against the elements. We provide rugs and blankets so you can relax in total comfort as your eyes adjust to the pure dark sky. Whether you are staying in Lajares or seeking things to do in El Cotillo at night, this is the island’s most dramatic coastal experience. We offer collections from Corralejo, or we are an easy driving distance from the South (Costa Calma and Caleta de Fuste). Observations run every Thursday (excluding Full Moon). STARGAZE LOS MOLINOS SELFDRIVE
Duration: 2 hours: Stargazing observation is from 1.5-2hours.
Where to meet: We meet at the Eco Ecomuseo De La Alcogida, where you will drive behind our guide to the observation point.
What to bring: Please, wear warm and comfortable clothes with closed toed shoes (no flip flops). We will provide rugs and blankets for all.
STARGAZE LOS MOLINOS TRANSPORT
Duration: 2 hours: Observation is 1.5-2hours long.
Collection Time: We collect you 20 minutes before the observation. We will contact you the night before for your collection time.
What to bring: Please, wear warm and comfortable clothes with closed toed shoes (no flip flops). We will provide rugs and blankets for all.

5.00An amazing evening with Karen from Stars by Night. We were originally booked in for Los Molinos but due to the weather this was not possible. Marisa was great at getting in touch with us to reschedule. We then went on the Corralejo Dunes tour. The experience is everything we could ask for and more. We love looking at the stars and we saw more than we had ever seen in our life! Karen was so knowledgeable and taught us so much about the constellations. We were able to observe several stars and even Saturn which was very cool to see. At first the weather was windy and it was uncertain if we would be able to use the telescope but Karen's infectious positivity and determination meant we were successful. We were provided with rugs and blankets so don't let the fear of it being cold put you off. Highly recommend when in Fuerteventura. Keep looking up!🌟

She explained everything so well, and looking at the night sky was just such a beautiful experience. 5.00Our booked date for stargazing was moved to another day so that it could take place under ideal circumstances. From transport to location and explanation of the constellations (with a view through binoculars and telescope) a first-class and very relaxed experience.

5.00Hello! 🙂 Together with my wife, we spend our holiday in Fuerteventura 🏖️ by the end of September 2025 and during this period we wanted to take part on a stargazing experience since I found out that Fuerteventura is a starlight reserve 🌠. After checking what possibilities we have in the island we found the company Stars by Night Fuerteventura 🔭 and it was the best decision to join them in a wonderful night under the stars. Mrs. Karen who was our star guide, took us on a remote place with very dark skies called Los Molinos where we made the observation inside an ancient stone circle. The knowledge and the wonderful greek mythology stories provided by Karen were trully the asset of this experience, she was very well prepared in therms of cosmology, a nice and powerful SkyWatcher newtonian telescope 🔭 was bring to the location, binoculars and also we get carpets and blankets to sit down and warm up if was needed. We saw the most beautiful night sky till now, Milky Way 🌌 was very visibe all night, Saturn 🪐, Andromeda Galaxy, The Great Globular Cluster in Hercules, Pleiades 🌠 and many more celestial objects. We highly recommend to everyone who is spending their holiday in Fuerteventura to take part on such a wonderful experience with Stars by Night 🔭, astronomy can make you dream like no other sience. Many thanks once again for showing us a tiny part of the Univers and definitely we'll see us again next time. 5.00The excursion was the most beautiful of all on the island. The guide is a fantastic and helpful person. He explained everything perfectly, it seemed to be in a fairy tale. We lay down to observe the stars, the constellations and the milky way while the guide explained, we saw the constellations with the telescope and even Saturn 🪐 He provided us with blankets to stay warm. The location was beautiful, we were at Playa de Los Molinos, completely dark under a starry sky and the sound of the sea in the background. She was also very kind to take a lot of pictures with the professional camera where Saturn and the Milky Way intertwined. I recommend 1000% this excursion with Karen.

5.00Absolutely loved it. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the night sky and her enthusiasm really shone through. This was a great spot for stargazing with minimal light pollution, and the sound of the ocean in the background. Unforgettable experience - would highly recommend.

5.00Something neither of us have done before and as my wife finds astronomy fascinating we thought we would book on. Very glad we did. It was a great evening! Karen and Dee (hope that’s the way to spell it) were both brilliant. Really knowledgeable and gave great insight into beginners astrology! Well worth going to, but be aware that depending on the cycle of the moon you may have slightly worse light pollution so might not see as many stars, but this is countered by being able to see the moon in great depth which was the highlight for us!

5.00We booked this trip about a month before our holiday and so glad we did,we have no experience in stargazing but Karen is so knowledgeable that it didn't matter,its such an amazing few hours I'd have no hesitation to book again when on the island!. A big thanks to Dee the trainee star guide his driving skills let us see parts of the island we didn't think existed 😂.
