On our tour, Clarke Quay awaits, a riverside gem blending history and modernity.
During the river cruise, guests will pass by key landmarks such as the Singapore Financial Centre, Marina Reservoir, and hear the legend of the Merlion. They’ll enjoy views of Marina Bay Sands, the Financial District skyline, the Supreme Court, Parliament House, and the Asian Civilisations Museum. The route also features Singapore’s oldest bridge, the historic Fullerton Hotel, the Esplanade with century-old rain trees, the Old Customs House, and finally, the Raffles Landing Site with its iconic statue.

3.00The tour was decent, but don’t be misled by the title. There’s no starry night cruise - there’s a 30 mins cruise ride from Clarke’s quay to Merlion park and back, but that’s it. Rest of the tour was in a bus. The garden rhapsody and merlion bay park light show were fun, but nothing you need a tour guide for.

3.00The fact that it was New Year's Eve probably contributed to a mediocre rating. The river cruise started 45 minutes late. The cruise itself was fine, but the rest of the evening was poorly organized. At the end we wound up wait 1/2 hour for one guest who was late AND we waited to pick up a bunch of people from another tour. We got to the original starting point at 5:20 for a 5:30 departure and were dropped off at 10:45 pm back at Clarke Quay what with the late start and waiting in between.

5.00It was a group activity that was picked up by a big bus at the hotel. Once we got to the location, the groups (2 buses) were split into smaller groups, and Don was our tour guide. Don was fantastic, with very good English and efficient. He provided lots of information about Singapore, like shopping areas, food areas, and highlights of the city. So fun, so easy and definitely worth the booking.

3.00While the guide was knowledge and the tour probably interesting this is not a boat cruise as it sounds. You take a 30 min cruise during day time but after that you are on a bus. We were not informed about the exact itinerary upon start or made aware of bathrooms. Overall we got more and more annoyed until we skipped after the 2nd bus stop.

4.00Pickup was right on time. Boat ride would have been even more enjoyable had we been able to ask questions to our guide instead of a canned dialogue. The bus ride and rest of the stops and light shows were delightful.
