Hear the stories of immigrants who passed through Ellis Island and learn about the creation and symbolism of the Statue of Liberty.
On this guided tour, your expert New Yorker will get your reserve-line ferry tickets and ride with you to Liberty Island and afterward, if you select our Comprehensive Tour, to Ellis Island for a tour of the landmarks around the island, such as the wall of honour. Once the tour ends, the exploration doesn't stop there as you can continue inside the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration to explore its multiple floors at your own pace. An audio guide is included to help. You’ll also have time to visit the Statue of Liberty Museum as your guide prepares you for what you’ll see inside.
Our Liberty Express option offers a 2 hour guided tour across the water, and on Liberty Island, where you'll learn all about the Statue of Liberty and our expert guide will also give you facts and tips if you wanted to visit the museum on your own after the tour.

Well it was recommended by my hotel so I rushed and didn't see that we weren't going into the actual Statue of Liberty. But it was still a great tour. The only thing is it said 930 and to arrive 15min earlier but the group was ready at 9.

The most important factor in booking this experience was to simplify our day. I was unfamiliar with how the ferries worked, so it was helpful to have our tickets ready. Jim is friendly and funny. He wants to teach participants about the history of everything. Before we were released to tour both museums, we had to sit through a 30 minute lecture about things we would see/hear in the museum. The final lecture outside the Ellis Island Museum cost him his gratuity. I did appreciate the information he gave us in other situations.

Dena was an outstanding tour guide. Very informative and personable. Her voice really projected and she made sure we all understood and saw pictures she shared. Also, very conscientious in making sure we stayed together. We loved our day at SOL and EI! Some of our family were here for the first time and hope to be back soon.

Jett was great. Very good information given on the tour. Gave us enough time at Liberty Island to explore the statue and museum. You also get as much time as you want at Ellis Island.

Really enjoyed this tour!!! The Statue of Liberty is even more amazing IRL than in pictures or on TV. The 90 min tour was just right and our guide, Joe was funny and very knowledgeable.
