Our guide was Erlene. He was very friendly, responsible, and on time for pick up. Erlene was knowledgeable about the hike, surroundings, plant life, and also Norwegian traditions. His commentary was very enjoyable. We were a group of four. He assessed our abilities and hiked at an appropriate pace. Sometimes changing the route a bit. Erlene is a safety first guy, and gave us lots of tips for safe trekking. He gave us dinner suggestions, which was appreciated 😊 You may pay a bit more for this company but it is well worth it. Your guide is part owner of the company and has a vested interest in your amazing trek. They know their stuff; they have been in guiding for years. If we are in the area again we would definitely use this company.

We had an excellent hike with Stephan despite the very windy day! From the moment the hike began, it was very clear we were in extremely safe hands. He provided us with great information about the Kjerag hike route and was very knowledgeable about Norway and its history. He was very friendly, engaging & easy going and provided recommendations about other things to do in the area. I would highly recommend taking a hike with Stephan.

We had a great time on our hike. We were a small group (5 people) and our guide Erlend was fantastic. The hike is challenging in parts because it is very steep, but it's worth it. A fun experience and incredible views. The whole tour was very well organised.

This hike to Kjerag was an absolutely fantastic experience — truly one of those once-in-a-lifetime adventures. The breathtaking scenery alone was unforgettable, but our guide Sean made the whole experience even more unique and special. Thank you so much, Sean, for all the experiences and stories you shared with us, and for making our day so memorable. Your energy, guidance, and positivity made this adventure even more incredible. Highly recommended!

It’s hard trek but worth it. Double check weather before you go. Guide was amazing and took great care of us. He was very educational and knowledgeable.

After a less reputable tour company canceled on me last minute, Sean was able to fit me in on a hike on a moments notice and was an excellent tour guide for the entire day…there’s no better option to go with for Kjeragbolten!

Shawn did everything perfect from start to finish. He was friendly, gave us a good drive, gave fun explanations to all these histories in Norway, and gave good hiking tips! Best of all, he's the ONLY tour guide that offers a tour from Stavanger to Kjeraj, which is very helpful for people who don't drive. Keep it up Shawn!

Had a great time hiking to Kjerag Bolten and the Pulpit rock with Sean as part of a group tour. We were lucky on our hike to Kjerag as it didn’t rain, just a bit cloudy but it was raining all day on our hike to the Pulpit rock. Regardless of the weather it was SUPER FUN and the view is AMAZING!

A beautiful hike despite fog and rain. Our guide was fantastic! Patience and got one to feel pressure throughout the trip. As well as good for telling about nature and stories about Norway. The reward on top of the mountain was Norwegian chocolate. 10/10 would definitely recommend the trip to Kjerag with Fjord Hikes.
