We will explore the park grounds and museum of America's smallest National Park. Ascending to the top viewing platform requires an additional ticket purchased separately by the guest in advance.

Amazing St. Louis Tour with Wayne (YourGuyinStL)

5.00Wayne with YourGuyinStL was absolutely amazing. From the moment I booked the tour, through the day itself, and even with follow-up afterward, he was incredibly responsive, helpful, and thoughtful. We arrived in St. Louis early on a Sunday morning after taking the Amtrak overnight. Since we were a bit early, Wayne had already shared great breakfast recommendations, so we grabbed breakfast at Good Press inside the 21C Hotel. The hotel itself was fun to explore with its artwork and was a great way to start the day. Wayne picked us up and we jumped right into the tour. Thanks to perfect timing, we were able to visit the Basilica between masses, and it was absolutely beautiful. The history Wayne shared made it even more meaningful. If you have the chance to see it, you absolutely should. It is stunning. We also drove through Forest Park, where Wayne shared fascinating details about the World’s Fair, including how the temporary structures were built, what materials were reused, and which buildings still remain today. We saw several other sites along the way too, but I will leave some surprises for future visitors. Wayne also did a fantastic job creating great photo opportunities throughout the tour. We ended up with some wonderful photos from spots we would never have known to stop at on our own, which made the experience even more memorable. From a food perspective, the stops were excellent. I had never had toasted ravioli before and did not know the history behind it. It was delicious and such a fun local specialty. I also loved learning about St. Louis’s Little Italy, which I had not even realized existed. We stopped for beer as well, and for anyone who does not drink beer, there were other options available. Seeing the Clydesdales was a highlight and one of those experiences I would not have had otherwise. And then there was the barbecue. As someone from Texas, I will admit I was skeptical, but these were hands down the best ribs I have ever had. Fantastic choice by Wayne. He even mentioned another spot he thinks is even better, which gives me a great reason to come back. We wrapped up the day with a drop-off at the Arch. We went up and also explored the museum at the base, where we learned even more about St. Louis and its history. I really wish we had more time there. We easily could have spent much longer before heading to the airport. Wayne was wonderful not just during the tour, but beforehand as well, offering breakfast ideas, suggestions for future trips, and helpful tips throughout. I truly enjoyed getting to know Wayne, learning about the city of St. Louis, and having such an incredible tour, especially given the limited time we had. I highly recommend Wayne and YourGuyinStL. This tour was a highlight of our trip.

The restaurants that Wayne took us to for barbecue and toasted ravioli were absolutely amazing. 5.00Wayne Prichard was so informative and fun! He knew minutia and was willing to share those facts when asked, which we did often! What an easy-going day we spent. I felt like I was truly on vacation with a chill vibe. I got to experience St. Louis with someone who absolutely loves his city. Now I love it too. Great excursion - I definitely recommend this for a fun day out!!
