Relaxing afternoon out on the water

5.00We were fortunate to catch one of the last of these tours for the summer, and had good weather as well. The tour took us eastward, out of the city, to some of the adjacent islands where local residents have their summer homes. While it doesn't go as far as Vaxholm, it does give you a good sense of the landscape of this region, and overall was a pleasant cruise. On the return trip, the ship goes past several of the landmarks around central Stockholm as well (around Djurgarden, Skeppsholmen, etc.). Two guides provided narration in English and German, providing just the right amount of information. Food and beverages were available for purchase onboard as well, ranging from coffee and "Kanellbullar" (cinnamon rolls) to a full set menu of different Swedish delicacies. If you don't have a whole day to explore the archipelago, and just would like a sample of it, this is a good, relaxed option for doing so.

5.00We had a relaxing 2.5-hour Summer Ride tour through the Stockholm archipelago! It was an entertaining boat trip with commentary in German and English! We had a blast, even though it rained heavily for a short time! We highly recommend the tour!
