Stonehenge
Step back in time 5,000 years as we visit the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. Take a step inside the reconstructed Neolithic houses, furnished with replica axes, pottery and other artefacts, and listen as our guide brings the fascinating history of Stonehenge to life. Who built Stonehenge? Why was it built? Discover the answer to these questions and learn how it was constructed using rudimental tools and stone from quarries hundreds of miles away. In the world-class exhibition centre, you’ll get the chance to come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and over 250 ancient objects.
Bath
Our last stop will be the historic city of Bath, originally built as a place of well-being and relaxation by the Romans over 2,000 years ago. Home to the country’s only natural thermal hot springs, Bath is a delightful city where the ancient world is intertwined with threads of medieval and more recent Georgian history. Our panoramic drive through Bath provides an excellent introduction to the major sights of this beautiful city, including Pulteney Bridge, The Assembly Rooms and The Royal Crescent. Afterwards, the time is yours to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. Wander its cobbled streets and explore the markets, or choose to visit the famous Roman Baths* and learn all about their history.

Ben, our guide, was excellent with lots of interesting commentary and helpful tips. The driver was great too. Stonehenge was a quick visit, which was perfect since there's not a lot to do there. Bath is amazing and could easily be a full day or weekend trip. If you like Jane Austen, the Jane Austen center has an interesting 20 minute live talk about her and then exhibits you can walk through after. Plan ahead and book an afternoon tea in their tea room.

The tour is good and the guide (Robert) and the driver (Rene) are excellent. The issue was the local tour operator. The local operator messaged me via Viator app that the meeting time was 7:30 am, instead of 8:00 am. I asked home to confirm the time and he never responded. I contacted the Viator customer service about the meeting time. I was told that the local information was 7:30 am. However they couldn’t confirm this because the local operator wouldn’t answer. What a terrible local operator service. We had to make a big rush to run to the meeting point at 7:30am and found out that coach meeting time was 8:00 am and departure time was 8:30 am. This terrible operator made us waiting at the coach station for one hour. What a stupid, ignorant local operator.

Travel guide was overall good but was a large bus that was packed and cramped. Travel guide really only spoke on the bus and for about 100 yards of Bath (which was interesting), but otherwise we were left to wander on our own in Stonehenge and Bath, rather than a true guided tour. WiFi also was not turned on/didn’t work on the bus.

Great tour. Deborah our guide was great! Lots of knowledge. Wish the weather cooperated a bit more but it is England.
