Stonehenge
The most famous prehistoric monument in the world, and now a world heritage site, Stonehenge stands alone in the vast empty tract of Salisbury plain. Its origins date back nearly 5,000 years and it has been home to pagan religion and spiritual worship, not to be mention public debate ever since. (if entry option selected)
Pulteney Bridge
Crossing the River Avon the bridge was completed by 1774, and connected the city with the land of the Pulteney family which they was designed by Robert Adam in a Palladian style, it is exceptional in having shops built across its full span on both sides.

I was really looking forward to seeing Stonehenge and Bath but was sadly disappointed by the amount of time we spent at Stonehenge. We arrived about 10:30 and were told to be back by noon. That sounds like a lot of time unless you’re waiting for the shuttle. We contemplated walking, but it would take over 30 minutes each way. Once we arrived at the stones, it was almost 11, so we walked around in 10 minutes and got back in the very long line for the shuttle and arrived back at 11:45. We couldn’t even visit the museum or grab a quick snack, because there was no time. Then it was another hour to Bath. Arriving around 1:15, we did the optional one hour walking tour with the guide and then had a timed entry at 3:00 for the Roman Baths. We didn’t leave Bath until 5:10. Personally I think there should be about 2 hours at Stonehenge given the long lines for the shuttle in both directions. Our guide, John, and driver were amazing.

Eugene and Moses are great! Eugene talked A LOT and was super informative about everything we saw and did. The bus ride was very smooth and comfortable. The stops were very fun. Eugene also gave us loads of suggestions for dinner and other plans back in London.

Stonehenge was great. There is a bit of a walk to the shuttle buses and then to site. Quite flat. Best views are from the far side. The site is lightly roped off so while you can’t walk through it, the views are unobstructed. Bath: The Roman Baths are interesting and the exhibits are quite elaborate (and time-consuming if you read or listen to the information) before you get to the actual bath area. There is a mini gift shop in along the way but a much larger one at the end. Our tour skipped the included a pass-by of the famous Royal Crescent, which has to be one of the most famous streets in the UK. Bath Abbey charges £8, when the tour cited free admission. There are lots of shops and cafes nearby. Our guide, Lisa, was great. The bus was fine, but the chemical toilet was a little sketchy. You can leave your extra belongings on the bus at the stops. We left Bath 30 minutes late after Lisa searched for two missing passengers and guided them back via her phone.
