Stonehenge
Stonehenge Over 5,000 years of history is waiting to be discovered by us at the prehistoric site at Stonehenge. Built on the windswept Salisbury Plain by our Neolithic ancestors, Stonehenge is a site that has courted controversy and stirred opinion for hundreds of years. Explore over 250 ancient objects on display at the world-class visitor centre. Discover the tools and everyday objects of Neolithic life, and come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and ancient human remains. Decipher the mystery of Stonehenge using an interactive audio guide exclusive to Evan Evans. Learn who built it and why, as well as how it was constructed using rudimentary equipment made of wood and stone.
Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle (optional entry) is the ancestral home of the British monarchy and the largest occupied castle in the world. As you walk around the impressive grounds, it is almost hard to believe that successive kings and queens have been living here for over 900 years. You'll see why this beautiful castle was a favoured weekend residence of Queen Elizabeth II. Inside the State Apartments, you will have the chance to explore the same rooms used today by The King and members of the Royal Family. The rooms here were intended to rival the Palace of Versailles in France, and paintings by renowned artists such as Rembrandt adorn the walls. Guests choosing the option to enter the Castle can also see St George's Chapel, the scene of some of the most famous royal weddings of recent times including The Duke & Duchess of Sussex and HRH Princess Eugenie & Mr Jack Brooksbank. Within the Chapel are the tombs of 11 monarchs, including Queen Elizabeth II, George VI, Henry VIII and Charles I.

We had a great time. Our tour guide, Phil, was very personable. I am glad we chose this option with just two sites, because that gave us time at each. I wish we had been a little more aware of the timing of the day, however, and perhaps brought some snacks for the bus ride between Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. We chose not to eat at the Stonehenge site (but we could have) thinking there would be plenty of time in Windsor to eat, but we spent the whole time alloted there in the Castle (our choice) since we wanted to take it all in, so we didn't have time for lunch. We don't regret it though, and got to see everything we wanted to see. I can't imagine going to 3 sites in one day like this, which our tour guide told us was the most popular trip. These two sites were PLENTY for one day. Very enjoyable.

The tour was excellent. Robert is an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable excellent tidbits of information. Definitely passionate about the history. He was made for this. Absolutely amazing. Abdi the bus driver is amazing as well. Navigating a tour bus around London looks crazy but he nailed it. Amazing tour.

This was the best tour I’ve ever been on and I’ve been on many! It was the perfect amount of time at each site. I couldn’t imagine squeezing in another stop since it would have taken time away from Windsor and its charming neighborhood. Our tour guide, Phil, was absolutely phenomenal and gave us so much insight and knowledge with a perfect mix of English humor. He was absolutely entertaining and we learned so much that the bus ride went by quickly. Ward, our driver, was great and safely drove us around the rush hour traffic. I would absolutely recommend this tour!

Very well organized! I'd do this again in a heartbeat! Our tour guide Debra was an amazing source of knowledge, and was super pleasant along with our driver Gary. There were plenty of bathrooms along the way, good communication with passengers, and free time to explore. I didn't feel hurried at all!

Awesome tour! Nice coach bus. Excellent guide. Had 2 hours to explore at Stonehenge on own and about 2 hours at Windsor. Enough time to not feel rushed. I would highly recommend this tour

Mel made this tour very informational and fun! A 10 Star guide! His experience came through when we had to change coaches early due to a mechanical issue. He had us stop at an off the highway travel stop that was comfortable with clean restrooms, coffee and food. Our replacement coach came within 30 minutes and was super comfortable. We still had the scheduled amount of time at both Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. In fact we had enough time to see the castle and have an unrushed bite to eat at a cafe in town. Mel gave us very clear directions at each location together with tips to maximize our visit. He also gave us tips on restaurants, shops, and transportation around our ending point at Victoria Station. Highly recommend this tour and hopefully you will get Mel!
