What To Expect
Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the Castle with a free multimedia tour. From October to March, visitors can also walk through the sumptuous Semi-State Apartments, which served as the private rooms of George IV in the 19th century.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800,it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle.

3.00Evans tours were very good. Bus driver was excellent and tour guide Saul was good at giving directions for timing and explaining things to see and what to do along the way. Only issue was the Trip Advisor website. I am sure that I paid for entrances to all sites and they said when I got on the bus that I had not paid for entrance to Windsor. Had to spend money on the day to get tickets at inflated price. Website should assume and auto select all entrances and make people unselect to remove them. That was my only disappointment.

5.00This was the best tour! No way could we have done it ourselves. Richard, the guide, and Dan the driver were awesome! Kept everyone on schedule. I wish we had more time in Windsor to explore more but we saw sooooo much. Lots of England in one day. Thank you, THANK YOU Richard and Dan.

5.00This trip was FABULOUS!! I am fairly particular about tours and “touristy” activities. But this tour was one I will recommend to friends and family and likely take again. All three stops are must see and this trip made it easy and accessible. Richard was an excellent guide, more knowledgeable than any other guides we had on similar tours while in London. Dan was a great driver and navigated the highways and winding streets with ease. Highly recommend Evan Evans tours!!
