Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the Castle with a free multimedia tour. From October to March, visitors can also walk through the sumptuous Semi-State Apartments, which served as the private rooms of George IV in the 19th century.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800,it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle.

Overall, we enjoyed the trip. However, seeing 3 places in 1 day leaves very little time at each stop. We left London 40 minutes late because the driver was late. Instead of making up this time to us, we were told we had to stick to a strict schedule because of tour reservations and limits on the hours the driver was allowed to work. We waited in line for at least 20-30 minutes at Windsor castle which was frustrating since we had pre booked tickets. I feel like we were robbed of an hour there between the line and leaving late. I literally sped walked through the castle just to see it and then walked quickly through the church. I had about 10 minutes left to go to the bus. It was very rushed. The other stops did not feel as rushed since there was not as much to see and the places were smaller. I think the description should tell you that the tour leaves very little time at each location. I would recommend choosing a tour with only 1 or 2 stops so you can enjoy your visit. We brought food with use from a grocery store near our hotel because I read other reviews saying there isn’t even time to grab lunch. This is very true and I’m so glad we brought food. If I do a similar tour in the future I will either book one with less stops or hire a private guide.

Our guide Simon was very good and filled us with a good knowledge base of not only the sites we visited, but also other places we passed along the way. The 3 sites were interesting and fascinating. However, it was too much to do all 3 sites in on day. A better trip would have been Bath and Stone henge in one trip so we could have spent more time not only in the baths, but also exploring the town of Bath and then more time in the wonder of Stone henge. Windsor castle could be its own trip or combined with some attraction closer. This would have made the travel time less arduous.

The whole trip was very educational and worthwhile. Maybe a bit long due to the travel time. Our guide was phenomenal and you could tell she enjoyed what she was doing
