Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the Castle with a free multimedia tour. From October to March, visitors can also walk through the sumptuous Semi-State Apartments, which served as the private rooms of George IV in the 19th century.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800,it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle.

Angela and Cece were really informative and good with the group of folks on the tour. Learned a lot of background on the castle, Stonehenge and Bath. I enjoyed Stonehenge the most, and the food facilities were good. Thank you Angela, for keeping any eye out for us, as we got lost getting back to the bus!

Phil and Adnan (our excellent driver) provided a superior tour experience! Phil's knowledge of the UK is unsurpassed. It's obvious he truly enjoys his job connecting with all of us on the bus. My only suggestion is to have a minimum age requirement. We were very distracted (especially at the beginning) by an uncontrolled toddler.

A Frustrating and Poorly Organized Experience Save your money and look elsewhere. What was advertised as a full-day tour turned out to be a stressful, disorganized ordeal that left us scrambling to see the sights we had paid for. Too Much Ground, Not Enough Time For a 12-hour tour covering Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and the Roman Baths, the time allocated at each stop was woefully inadequate. At Windsor Castle, after waiting in the entry queue, we were left with barely over an hour to explore — nowhere near enough time to do it justice. At the Roman Baths, we again had just over an hour before being herded back onto the bus for the two-hour return journey to London. If you actually want to see what you paid to see, you’ll be constantly rushing. No Lunch Break There is no scheduled lunch break on this 12-hour tour. If you want to eat, you must sacrifice precious sightseeing time to do so. This is simply unacceptable for a full-day excursion and should be clearly disclosed upfront. No Support When It Matters Our guide, Pablo, walked us to the entrance of Windsor Castle and then returned to the bus — leaving us entirely on our own. In fact, he never actually guided us at all. We were dropped off at each rotation and left to tour alone. When we had difficulty locating the bus afterward, we called the tour operator office for help. We asked if they could contact Pablo, but they were unwilling to do so. The response was shockingly unhelpful: we were told we could either wait a few hours for another bus back to London or find our own way. When we explained we still wanted to see Stonehenge, we were told the company doesn’t recommend making the journey independently — yet no assistance was offered. We ended up taking an Uber at our own expense ($150 USD) just to reach the next stop on the tour we had already paid for. An Indifferent Guide When we finally caught up with our group at Stonehenge, Pablo was sitting on the bus rather than guiding anyone. When we asked if we had enough time to see the site, he told us we might have time for a quick photo. Not a word of acknowledgment that we had gone through an ordeal to get there. Basic courtesy and professionalism were entirely absent. Bottom Line This tour has serious structural flaws — insufficient time at each location, no meal break, no way to reach your guide in an emergency, and customer service that leaves you stranded when things go wrong. We will not be using Evan Evans Tours again and would strongly caution others against booking this particular trip.

Very professional driver. Handled traffic and narrow roads skillfully. Tour guide was professional and knowledgeable however at times I did not appreciate being talked to like “A school Kid”. Was a bit curt.

An informative trip with Robert and Wieslaw. Robert is a wealth of knowledge. He shared thousands of years of history between destinations. A great day trip from London for those who have limited time but want to see more than just the city.

Our tour was fantastic!! Richard was the best guide - he kept us on track, made sure we were allotted enough time at each location and kept us entertained and engaged the entire time! We would highly recommend this tour and Richard made sure we were all accounted for! The price was worth it and we recommend including the admission for all of the locations! Definitely worth it! The bus was clean and comfortable! The countryside was so beautiful to see what a lovely and peaceful atmosphere!! We had a nice size group so we were easy to keep track of and not too crowded. It made it easy for us to stay on the itinerary and timely!

The tour was very well managed and organized. Our guide Richard was great and very caring for my mother whose first language is Korean and wanted to make sure she would be able to enjoy and understand the experience with audio guides. (Only Roman Bath had Korean language audio guide but Windsor and Stonehenge were still great for her). Instructions on where to meet in the morning were pretty clear on our ticket. Anything missed would be human error. Victoria Coach Station is incredibly busy as it serves regular travelers so pay attention after you receive your gate number, they’ll call out your color wristband quickly and it is loud in the station. Richard made expectations very clear that this tour is a light touch on each place we visit but he also gave tips on how to maximize your time. This is great for anyone who wants to be introduced to a bit of England history and likes to do their own research afterwards or is more into sightseeing rather than deeply diving and reading every placard and info board. Otherwise, I would recommend to research Roman Bath/Bath City and Windsor Castle and then do an individual visit to whichever place intrigues you and add Stonehenge into the package. I would definitely choose another Bath tour as the city was extremely quaint and charming. In Windsor Castle, only St. George’s Chapel and the state rooms are available to the public when open. Thank you again Richard for being a wonderful guide today!

Lovely tour with our English tour guide Richard who was well organized, witty, and extremely knowledgeable. He is well versed on language, history, and local lore. We had a brilliant time.
