What To Expect
Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the Castle with a free multimedia tour. From October to March, visitors can also walk through the sumptuous Semi-State Apartments, which served as the private rooms of George IV in the 19th century.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800,it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle.

5.00Dovevamo avere una guida italiana ma non c'era perché ammalata, al suo posto un ragazzo islandese Jas ( spero di averlo scritto correttamente) , una guida veramente innamorata del suo lavoro, ha raccontato storie ed aneddoti molti interessanti e divertenti. Ha spiegato, prima di arrivare, ogni attrazione anche i piccoli dettagli che poi abbiamo notato ed ammirato. Il castello di Windsor veramente imponente e ben tenuto, Stonehenge mistico e iconico , la città di Bath con le sue terme veramente una perla inaspettata! Ci siamo sentiti veramente accolti dalla cultura e dai posti ! Stra consigliato! We were supposed to have an Italian guide, but she wasn’t there because she was sick. Instead, we had an Icelandic guy, Jas (hope I’m spelling it right), and honestly he was amazing. You could tell he really loves his job—he shared lots of interesting and funny stories and anecdotes. Before we even arrived, he explained every attraction in detail, including little things that we later noticed and appreciated even more. Windsor Castle was truly impressive and very well kept, Stonehenge was mystical and iconic, and the city of Bath with its baths was a real hidden gem! We really felt welcomed by the culture and the places. Highly recommended!

Stonehedge day trip is stunning and worth the 2 hour trip

4.00Our day trip out to Stonehedge was absolutely worth it even though it’s two hours each way. Once you’re there the stones are magnificent and there’s lots of history to learn about the area. We have mixed feelings about some of the communication from the tour operator but the actual Stonehedge 6 tour itself, was good. The bus was in really good condition and the driver knew what he was doing. We strongly recommend nothing less than two hours to visit the area.

1.00Miserable no proper direction to pickup.so missed bus Was determined to be first in line so practically ran to castle would not slow down and then we ended up waiting 30 minutes to enter. Just dismissed our concerns. When I called the office they offered us nothing. No refund. No ride on a later bus. No help at all. I took an Uber back to London. Not happy .
