Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the Castle with a free multimedia tour. From October to March, visitors can also walk through the sumptuous Semi-State Apartments, which served as the private rooms of George IV in the 19th century.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800,it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle.

Evans and Evans’ tour to Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and Oxford with our guide Richard was outstanding—highly recommended. Richard provided a wealth of historical insight at each stop, making the experience both engaging and informative. Everything was seamlessly organized, with smooth access to all sites and no issues throughout the day. It was exactly what we were looking for to explore the U.K. beyond London. Thank you, Richard and Evan Evans, for a fantastic day.

Our tour was led by Richard, and he was an encyclopedia of knowledge, giving us a day of not only historical significance, but also in an atmosphere that was fun, and made a believer of those who did not think history could be interesting. We spent an appropriate amount of time at all 3 locations, a feat that couldn't have been done without his knowledge and experience.

The tour was very organized. Schedule was managed properly. Shout out to our tour guide Richard and our driver Greg for doing an excellent job in providing a great experience and avoiding huge crowds. Richard did a good job in doing some mini lectures and stories along the way that made the travel entertaining.

Our guide Richard was very professional and entertaining. We didn't have to bother about anything. We were on time and didn't have to wait in the lines. He was excellent at representing the British culture - also by himself (I mean, he looks like a real Brit :) The bus was very clean and comfortable. Our driver was very friendly and helpful.

Richard was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable but also with a charming and humorous personality. He covered not only the sites but also random facts about the geography and history all through the drive around the English countryside.
