Your coach will leave from the designated meeting point at 8am sharp – make sure you’re there minimum 15 minutes before to check in! The first stop of your adventure will be the world’s oldest and largest occupied castle, Windsor Castle, where you will arrive at approximately 9:30am. With its sweeping landscaped gardens and a striking round tower, it's easy to see why Windsor Castle is King favourite weekend residence. Enjoy wandering through the lavish State Apartments - home to priceless artworks by Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci and many more - and visit the beautiful St. George's Chapel, the final resting place of former monarchs including Henry VIII and the wedding venue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!
St. George's Chapel
Step inside St George’s Chapel, located on the sprawling grounds, where notorious King Henry VIII and his favourite wife, Jane Seymour, are buried, as are Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. St. George's Chapel is one of the finest examples of gothic architecture in England. It has been the setting for many royal weddings and is the burial place of ten sovereigns. The Chapel is dedicated to the patron saint of the Order of the Garter. Britain's highest Order of Chivalry. *St. George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. We knew it would be a long day and we were very sad to miss Windsor castle since we were advised the week before the royal family had decided to plan something therefore that part of the tour had to be cancelled (which we were advised may happen and not the fault of the tour itself). The bus ride was extremely comfortable and both the driver and tour guide made the day worth it. A lot of rest time since lots of driving but the actual sites were fun to see. Nothing like seeing and learning history of Bath and Stone Henge is a marvel in itself. Walking around was nice but of course a castle tour would have been the icing on the cake...but it will be a reason for us to come back and visit again :-)

Happy we got this tour as our original one was canceled by Evan Evans less than a week before the tour was schefuked. The sites were great. Narration was OK. Josh the guide was a bit repetitive in his talks. Josh would point out things as we pased them, at a pretty good clip, so unable to get a lot of desired photos. We. bought icre cream just before boarding the bus between stops only to be told then we could not bring it on the coach. We were planning on 12 hr trip. Because Windsor Castle was closed we were told we had extra time in Bath and Stonehenge, but we were back in London by 6:30. Could have had more time in Windsor.

Make sure the Windsor Castle is open on the day you are touring. But if the castle is close the town around the castle is very nice
