Windsor Castle is a working royal palace and planned closures/disruptions may be subject to change, from those seen on the product page.
Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesday, we offer a walking tour instead on those days.
When the State Apartments are closed the Precincts, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and the Drawings Gallery remain open.

Due to driver's legal working hours restrictions, this tour will finish within a 2 or 3 minute walk of Gloucester Road Underground Station. This station is in Zone 1 and is three stops Eastbound on the Circle Line or the District Line to Victoria. The Piccadilly Line also runs through Gloucester Road, and is only 5 stops to Piccadilly Circus.
During the winter months an additional five rooms, known collectively as the Semi-State Rooms, are included in the visitor route.
St. George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services.

What To Expect
Windsor Castle
Your coach will leave from the designated meeting point at 8am sharp – make sure you’re there minimum 15 minutes before to check in! The first stop of your adventure will be the world’s oldest and largest occupied castle, Windsor Castle, where you will arrive at approximately 9:30am. With its sweeping landscaped gardens and a striking round tower, it's easy to see why Windsor Castle is King favourite weekend residence. Enjoy wandering through the lavish State Apartments - home to priceless artworks by Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci and many more - and visit the beautiful St. George's Chapel, the final resting place of former monarchs including Henry VIII and the wedding venue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!
St. George's Chapel
Step inside St George’s Chapel, located on the sprawling grounds, where notorious King Henry VIII and his favourite wife, Jane Seymour, are buried, as are Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. St. George's Chapel is one of the finest examples of gothic architecture in England. It has been the setting for many royal weddings and is the burial place of ten sovereigns. The Chapel is dedicated to the patron saint of the Order of the Garter. Britain's highest Order of Chivalry. *St. George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. These occur at the following times: 08:30 – Holy Communion 10:45 – Mattins and Sermon 11:45 – Sung Eucharist 17:15 – Evensong

5.00Bruce and Ashley led us on an incredibly efficient, yet fulfilling tour of Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath. Because of Bruce's helpful suggestions, we were able to maximize out experiences with limited time. I would consider this tour a "highlights" tour, with a short time in each location, but it has whet my appetite for more days in Bath. Stonehenge was mind-blowing, of course. Windsor Castle was amazing, and I would have enjoyed more time in both Windsor and Bath, but for a one-day tour, it could not have been more efficient. Great job by Bruce and Ashley!

5.00Din and Soco were amazing. They made the trip awesome and I would book again if I were sure I’d get them. Din told awesome stories and was so helpful. The bus was full but didn’t feel crowded at all. I loved having all admissions included so I didn’t have to worry about it there. Overall great experience. Side note- don’t show up for the tour with hot coffee expecting to nurse it along the way… that’s a no no.

5.00Armando and Bruce made a great team! Armando drove safely from destination to destination. Bruce provided just the right balance of humor and information for our full day trip. Everything was expertly organized and timed to help us make the most of our limited time at the venues. Bruce was super helpful all day long even in helping us get home/to our next destination. Bruce also took great care for those with disabilities and with small children, making sure to meet their unique needs. Kudos all around for a long but fun and informative day! Would highly recommend the outstanding team of Bruce and Armando.

Bruce was very informative and obviously was very familiar with the itinerary and the sights.
