Sturgeon Bay's Growth through the Centuries
Experience the charm of Sturgeon Bay like never before on our "Canal Glide" Segway tour! Get ready to breathe in the fresh air & explore the city's most exciting highlights with Segway the Door Tours.
As we glide over the historic Steel Bridge, you'll feel the wind in your hair and the thrill of adventure coursing through our veins. We'll take you to Graham Park and the Downtown District, where you can soak up the vibrant energy of the shopping district and see it from a whole new perspective.
But that's not all. You'll learn fascinating nuggets of Sturgeon Bay's history and hear how it has evolved over the years.
As we make our way through the city, you'll notice how the canal splits Sturgeon Bay in half. Sawyer used to be on the west bank and Sturgeon Bay on the east, but now you can explore them both on our tour.

The segways were fun. The tour guide was nice enough, but knew very little information and could not answer simple questions. I’d say the company did very little to prepare her or see that she was. She pointed places out, but knew very little or nothing about what she was showing us. She forgot something and told us about it later in the tour when it meant nothing. I think it’s the Segway company at fault, not the guide. They need to see their guides are better prepared.

During training, I was really worried this tour could go badly for us, but it really did become easy. We had a blast. We chose to tour Sturgeon Bay looking at the marinas and shipyards. Barry was a great guide! Everyone loved this! And our tour was just our group, probably because of COVID, but we didn’t mind. If we were rich, we would have done all the tours. We recommend for everyone! No skill involved.
