Board the Amaroo for a fun, 3hr cruise from Hervey Bay along the West coast of stunning, World Heritage-listed Fraser Island.
The perfect way to spend a hot summer's day out on the water soaking up the beautiful scenery. Or, if youâre in the mood for some fun, cool down in the water in our boom-net!
Captain Phil will seek out dolphin pods, turtles, and maybe the mysterious Dugong, for you to watch frolicking in the warm summer waters. View some of the local region's most stunning scenery. Depending on tides, this could include highlights such as Pelican Banks, secluded Fraser Island Beaches, Moon Point, and Big Woody Island.
What's a Boom-net?
Our purposely built, secure, and safe boom-net is a unique way of experiencing the marine life around Hervey Bay. It is also a great way to stay cool and have a heap of fun with friends and family on a warm summers day. The net is a large structure that is lowered from the side of the vessel and easily accessible from the side steps.

What To Expect
Great Sandy National Park
This tour takes place in the northern part of the Great Sandy Marine Park where we can encounter many forms of marine wildlife such as dolphins, turtles, dugongs, and whales, as well as a myriad of birdlife. We'll also see some of the most beautiful small islands and secluded beaches in the area.
K'Gari Island
This tour regularly* takes place along the West Coast of World Heritage-listed Fraser Island. Our experienced local captain will provide expert commentary on the unique make-up, scenery and history of the island, whilst you keep your eye peeled for rare Fraser Island animals such as dingo and falcons. *The route of this tour is dependant on conditions such as tides and may visit other islands at times.

5.00Fabulous crew- amazing boat. Despite less than perfect weather it was a super enjoyable outing. The crew were very knowledgeable and happy to chat and answer any questions. Absolutely wonderful. Wild life did not cooperate but still an enjoyable way to spend the morning. Boom net looked enticing so will definitely pack my togs next time. đ

5.00The service on board was amazing. Being able to swim and relax in the boom net and have drinks delivered to us!! Would highly recommend this tour, affordable, beautiful waters, we even stopped to watch some dolphins swim around the boat. Would definitely do again!!

5.00What an amazing day we had!! Although we didn't see dolphins, we saw a few dugongs and a shark. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and very informative. Would highly recommend this half day cruise. The water was crystal clear in parts. Can't wait to do it again

5.00Absolutely brilliant!!! The captain and deckhand were extremely knowledgeable and friendly! The boom net was awesome! Such a beautiful part of the world and such an awesome company to visit here with. To add to the day, the boat club is beautiful with extremely lovely staff, great coffee and lovely food. We will definitely be back!

5.00We had an awesome time ! We had a small group only 8 of us so made it extra attentive . Commentary was great ! Saw dolphins up close, trevally( I think) thrashing about .. stingrays .. pelicans .weather was great . But best part we had over an hour alongside the boat in the Boomnets ⊠best SPA Iâve been in đ€Łđ€Ł..had a few wines on the deck chatting to the others , we had a great day .. Thankyou

5.00Great Crew Members especially the captain!! Interesting Boom-Net Natural Sauna. We did see some sousa dolphins on our way back to port.
