  We visited the Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple and Summer Palace which was beautiful. I would have loved to see it in the spring when all the magnolia trees are in bloom. We had Peiking duck lunch but it was more than just duck, a really nice Chinese food experience with lots of choices and delicious. It was a challenging day with lots of road closures as well as long queues due to the New Years holidays, we still managed to experience everything that was in the program thanks to our guide. He got us through all the queues, answered our questions, told us about the history and helped everyone to get on their way home safely. He was also very patient and accommodating since some of the group was getting tired. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire trip. The places we visited were beautiful and unforgettable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a wonderful and well-planned tour!

  What an amazing day! Highly recommend this tour: easy to find the location, every tickets already booked and wonderful places! Our guide, Gary, was a huge contributor to this unforgettable journey! Despite we had more walking to do than expected (closed roads during Spring Festival), he made sure everyone was ok at every moment. He's experienced, very kind and offered a good balance between explanations and free time to take photos! 5/5 would do again! Thank you Gary for this journey 🙏 Quentin.

  The itinerary of the tour was well planned and executed but the highlight was Gary the storyteller, he makes the history come alive with his vivid deliveries and always willing to assist and accomodating. Thank you Gary!

  My experience visiting the Temple of Heavens, Lama Temple and Summer Palace has been the best one I had in China so far! Not only the palaces and places were really charming, but our guide Miss Yang has been an awesome guide. She has been very prepared to answer to our history questions and she managed to convey ideas on how life was back then, how cerimonies were held and how an extreme symbolism pervade every structure, sculture and painting. Without her guide, surely we wouldn't have had such a great experience and understanding of Chinese places. But the tour doesn't stop here. We had a fantastic lunch where we were introduced to typical food (I especially loved the duck) and had a walk in the houtong near the Lama Temple. I think if one person wants to understand Beijing and its culture should really book this experience. And surely our guide made the best to put us at ease and point us future opportunities of visit and local life insights. In summary: awesome places, awesome guide and awesome food. Thank you very much for having enriched my experience!

  Thank you, Jay, for your wonderful tour guide service! The itinerary of visiting the Temple of Heaven, the Lama temple, and the Summer Palace was simply amazing! Jay is not only knowledgeable but also gives lively and interesting explanations. He is also very considerate. Throughout the journey, he was always smiling, and the pace of the tour was just right - neither rushed nor exhausting, but full of rewards. Jay's professionalism and warmth made this trip to Beijing from "checking off the list" to "deep experience". I highly recommend it to all those who want to experience the old Beijing culture. Next time, I will definitely choose Jay to lead the tour!

  I had the absolute pleasure of touring with Jay, and he was beyond amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple, and the Summer Palace. His explanations were detailed, engaging, and easy to understand. He spoke very clear English and made everything accessible and interesting. Jay is also extremely friendly and thoughtful. At the Summer Palace, he noticed how cold it was and kindly allowed us to stop for hot tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and even a bite to eat. That level of care and consideration made the experience even more enjoyable. The tour was well organized and thorough. My only wish is that we could have tried the bikes on the lake at the Summer Palace. Even though the tour was quite full, adding an extra 30 minutes to incorporate bike riding would make it even more special. Beyond the sights, this tour brought together such an amazing group of people. I met Alexandra from the Philippines, Ariana from Argentina, two young men from Amsterdam, and a lovely couple from Italy. It was a wonderful cultural experience that connected people from all over the world. I am so thankful for this experience. I would rate Jay a perfect 10 — actually, beyond a 10!
