5.00I joined this tour solo, slightly unsure how a long bus day with strangers would feel — and left genuinely grateful I did. From the very beginning, the day was calm, well-organised, and beautifully paced, which made it easy to simply be present. Our guide, Jason Lee, deserves special mention. He was polite, attentive, and quietly thoughtful — the kind of guide who explains history and culture with clarity and depth, without overwhelming you. Each site — Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Lama Temple — felt alive with meaning because Jason knew exactly how much to share and when to step back. His passion was evident, but never performative. As a solo traveller, I especially appreciated how inclusive the experience felt. We were a small, diverse group (from the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, and more), and Jason made sure everyone felt seen — even offering to take my photos whenever I asked, which made a bigger difference than it sounds. Lunch was a highlight too — the Peking Duck was genuinely delicious and thoughtfully timed, giving us a proper pause to recharge. Every stop was breathtaking, culturally rich, and well explained. If you want a tour that’s informative yet unhurried, personal yet professional — this is it. Highly recommended, especially for solo travellers.

5.00We had such a great time on this tour! Jimmy and his partner from Mubus are absolutely amazing, energetic, and just on top of everything. We had a big group, but they managed it well. Before the tour, I got text messages with all the details — clear instructions on where to meet, what to bring, and what to expect. The meeting time was 8.50a.m., but we arrive early, so don’t just be on time — be early! On the tour, he gave really clear explanations and shared background info about the Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple and the Summer Palace. He is knowledgeable & made the ride both fun and informative. They also provided water bottles. Definitely go for the lunch option! The Peking Duck lunch was delicious & really big portion all the other dishes. Overall, such a well-run, enjoyable tour with amazing guides.
