Wat Phra That Doi Suthep
It is a tremendous temple complex with a visual delight every time you turn your head. It is popular with the tour buses, but wait for the tour to move on and enjoy it. Give yourself plenty of time and you will not be disappointed.

What more can I say. Relaxing, quiet, and beautiful. The views were amazing, and the temple’s breathtaking. My wonderful guide “Ooh” took the time to explain each and everyone of the things that we saw and experienced. She really went above and beyond and I would recommend her services to anyone, I would also certainly recommend this trip to anyone trying to see the beauty of Doi Suthep, in a peaceful environment.

A tour revealed the story of Chiang Mai's past, giving more taste and depth to my subsequent sight seeing in the town. The tour guide has been very friendly! She shared with us the historical struggles in the past kingdoms, which surprisingly linked to the infamous "The king and I". She also explained how buddhism is embedded in building architecture, statues and how it has influenced people's mindset. This is an excellent introduction of Chiang Mai.
