Tim made the sunrise tour unforgettable. His easygoing style, combined with personal stories and meaningful cultural history, brought the landscape to life. I walked away with a genuine appreciation for the beauty, history, and Navajo culture of the area.

We went on a sunrise tour with Tim A.as our guide. The big advantage of the sunrise tour is that not many people want to get up early. Our tour had a total group of 5 and that was perfect. Tim was great as a guide. He shared Navajo history, legends, and culture. In addition, he shared stories about his life growing up on the reservation. He knew where the best spots were for photos and took a lovely panorama of us. He brought the history to life when he told us about the long walk and how some people survived on the cliff. There were two tweens in our group and they were fascinated by his stories. Strongly recommend this experience.

Wonderful and comprehensive tour of much of the main part of the vallley. Watching the first light hit many of the monuments is beautiful and mystical. We also had a beautiful view of the sunrise. Marjory told us a lot about Navajo culture, and sang a traditional song in a beautiful setting. Strongly recommend.

My tour guide Marjorie was fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable about every part of the park and went out of her way to show me some unique photography opportunities. I just had a fantastic experience. Highly recommend a guided tour if going to Monument Valley. You will see and experience so much more.

Marjorie was a fantastic guide. This is my 3rd tour of monument valley and it did not disappoint. Marjorie picked us up early at the view hotel and was personable, friendly and super knowledgeable. She shared more information about the rock formations than previous tour guides and even sang us a song as we stared up at the eagle eye at big Hogan arch. Amazing experience and id definitely recommend to anyone.

Had a great time, gaining access to the loop road before the gates opened to everyone else. Donna, our guide, was helpful in getting me to the best vantage points for photos.

Our sunrise tour was with Jameson of Monument Valley Tribal Tours. The tours visit the back-country. Before sunrise, Jameson explained some Navajo beliefs and traditions during "first light." Oh, to live your life like that. During sunrise, we stopped for several minutes, with ample time for sunrise photos. Afterwards, there were more photo stops; all very pretty. The back roads in Monument Valley can be jarring in some spots, but it's worth it. There are few places that equal this one.

Wonderful experience in the Navajo Tribal Park watching the sun rise and learning about the Navajo people. Shadows on the rocks are constantly changing as the sun rises creating beautiful and serene vistas.

Wear warm clothes and coats! We were on 30th sept and hat and gloves were needed. Amazing sights and photo opportunities. You get to see a lot of ‘off the general track’ sights and insight to Native American culture. Marjorie was a great driver and guide.
