Absolutely amazing experience. We got Captain Bryce and Gary. Captain Bryce was hilarious and made the trip very enjoyable. Saw majestic Mantas up close. We went in January and I’d recommend a coat for the ride back as the AC was kicking at high blast and I got cold.

Wonderful from beg to end! Captain Simon was knowledgeable, funny and reassuring. Our two guides Jeramiah and Kaden were very helpful. I’m not comfortable in the water and they supplied life vests and guided me all the way. The water was warm relative to the outside temperature. The manta rays were incredible and you get a hot shower and snacks when you return to the boat. Definitely an experience not to be missed

Awesome! Great staff and boat ride! It’s a must do on the big island! Manta rays come right up to see them and renting the go pro on site was worth it!!!

Snorkeling with manta rays was amazing, but maybe go with another company. It was around 20 min ride to the snorkel site in the dark. The ride can be quite choppy and they educate/joke about people vomiting and had 2 designated areas on the boat for that. I read that other boats provide ginger chews/ginger ale to help with that. When it was time to snorkel, there wasn't education on using the mask and what to do if water got in (that we did get from another tour). The captain then was rushing everyone off the boat (maybe there were too many of us) that it felt like lemmings. And joking/semi complaining that there were many swimmers who were not confident and wanting snorkel vests. I can understand wanting to wear a snorkel vest if you're snorkeling in the dark in choppy waters. Well, I think many people took that to heart and thought they would be fine without snorkel vests and then were swinging their legs around trying to float despite pool noodles. While we did see manta rays (yay!) and the guides really tried to move us to see if we could see more, the ride there, experience getting in the water and the ride back was so sad that it cast a pall on the whole experience. Definitely snorkel with the mantas, but maybe with another boat.

This was the most amazing thing we did on the Big Island!! I was nervous and don’t like swimming at night but I loved it. They shine lights to attract the plankton and you just float and hold onto a raft and they come to you. Literally they come within inches of you. The manta rays have no defenses or way to hurt you. They just eat the plankton. Super safe. Super fun.

This is the best guided tour possible. My wife and I had the best time. The crew was fantastic, funny and super prepared and professional. Nice equipment. Would reccomend renting the go pro, worth 40$ all day long. Kaden, Aiden and Gary did an awesome job, would do this again! Kudos and Mahalo

If you want to be packed like sardines into a boat, this one is for you! If you want to be crowded onto the viewing platform with not enough space, choose this company! If you want to feel rushed and fight for space to see the majestic manta rays, climb aboard! In all seriousness, this is the worst excursion I have ever paid for. They allow way too many people onto the tour, which means there is not enough space to comfortably view the manta rays. I traveled with my kids and was one of the last groups off the boat. They did not leave enough space for us to hold on to the platform, so I had to hold with one arm and fight the man next to me for space for my family. I told the tour guide but he didn’t respond (or care). My son ended up on the short end of the platform with the boat’s tether rope hitting his head over and over whole time. I’ve snorkeled with the manta rays before and had an amazing time. Not here. This company needs to rethink its customer experience. For now, I would recommend you avoid this company at all costs.

Beyond what we expected. Amazing. Mantas swam right up to us numerous times. Just the right amount of time. They provided wet suits which really helped. The captain and crew were the best. Great communication. Comfortable boat that handled waves well.
