Explora Watersports is one of the only watersports centres located right at the beach at the optimum spot for surfing. Our team are fully qualified and we have new equipment each year. We are a family run business who's aim is to ensure you have a great time on and off the water.

What To Expect
If you are a beginner the surf lesson will first start with focusing on your balance and then the pop to your feet, understanding the waves the right waves to catch and the optimum point to catch the waves. We then look at your posture and stance to extend your time on the board riding the wave.

5.00I have been to Explora Watersports two years in a row, spending about a week surfing each time, and I honestly can’t imagine a better place to learn and grow as a surfer. Each visit I’ve become noticeably better, and that’s entirely thanks to the incredible instructors and the atmosphere Anas has created. Anas, the owner, is truly amazing – warm, welcoming, passionate, and deeply committed to making sure everyone feels seen and supported. The staff and instructors (Ismail and Aziz you guys rock!– and sorry for not mentioning all of you guys at Explora!!) are equally outstanding: professional, encouraging, and genuinely kind. What makes Explora special is the mix of people. The groups include different ages and levels, yet there is always something for everyone. There’s a strong sense of community – people cheer for each other, celebrate good waves together, and support one another in the water. It creates a feeling that’s both motivating and safe. One thing that really touched me was how sweet and caring the instructors are with small children. Their patience and attentiveness are beautiful to witness, and it says a lot about the values of this place. Last year I came alone. This year I came back and brought my family with me – and next year, I’ll be back again. By now, coming to Explora feels like coming home to family. If you’re looking for a surf school where you’ll truly improve, feel welcome, and be part of something special, this is the place.

5.00As a family we had 4 days of group lessons. Excellent instruction from all the team - we made great progress each day, starting as near-beginners & leaving confidently riding the waves. Really friendly team. Very good set-up and equipment. Great cafes/bars next door to recover! A huge thank you!

5.00Beautiful experience even for beginners. We tried surfing with Ismail and he was a strict but very good instructor. First time and by the end of the lessons we were in the water surfing and having fun! If you have only one day recommended the 4h experience. 🏄♂️ 🏄♂️ 🏄♂️
