We are the longest-running surf school in Widemouth Bay, and we pride ourselves on our safety standards. Throughout our fun-filled sessions, you'll be supplied with the tuition and knowledge from our experienced Surf coaches, to help you progress to your best abilities.

Widemouth Bay itself is also a beautiful, blue-flag beach, with a large car park, and a great cafe. This beach is also lifeguarded within the year by the RNLI.

The sandy beach also allows great conditions for beginners to learn, along with some more challenging peaks for intermediates to practice further.

What To Expect

We operate from Widemouth Bay, the long sandy beach is an epic and perfect location to learn to surf or to improve your technique. Whether joining us alone, in a family, or with a group of friends, our friendly and experienced team is fun and enthusiastic and is dedicated to giving you the best experience in the water. If you are looking to surf for the first time or even to improve your technique, then our coaches are experienced in making the most of your session. We cover how to carry a surfboard, catch a wave, and different ways to stand up. We break the 2-hour lesson down into valuable coaching time on the beach as well as extensive water time to make the most of practicing your skills. With all our years of experience, we have plenty of tips and tricks to enable you to progress to your feet as quickly as possible. Our coaches can pick up on the slightest mistake and advance you past that and onto your feet in no time! We provide the specialist equipment, such as wetsuits and boards, however we do require you to bring your own swimwear and towel.

I actually booked another date through Viator, but for some reason viator let me book when it was closed! Received a message from Rob, who let me know and let me rearrange for another date. Myself and 3 children (9, 12, 13) thoroughly enjoyed ourselves , Tia and Dillon were our instructors , very informative, I was slightly worried about my 9 year old boy as he was a bit anxious as it’s a new experience for all of us , but Dillon stuck with him and he had a great time! Tia was very informative with clear , simple to understand instructions given and very friendly. Would definitely do again next time we come to Cornwall.

We had a FAB time learning to surf with Lauren!! She was so clear and very patient (especially with me and my injured shoulder/neck!)… I just wish I could have stayed out the full 2hours but at least the kids did and are now HOOKED!! Unfortunate about the lock on the trailer getting stuck so we couldn’t get back into our clothes etc til they fixed it, but they were so kind letting us wait in the nice warm van! Also, glad to see you got a new one when i walked past today!😘😂 thanks for a great time guys!🤩👍🏻🙌🏻
