You’ll explore the techniques behind three unique rolls and choose two to make from scratch. Options include a dragon roll packed with real crab, creamy avocado and a sprinkle of sesame seeds; a Philly roll layered with smoked salmon, cream cheese, cucumber and avocado; or a vibrant vegetable roll filled with carrots, asparagus and bell peppers. Along the way, you’ll sharpen your knife skills, learn how to work with nori and sushi rice, and practice rolling techniques that make your sushi tight, balanced and delicious. By the end, you’ll have two picture-perfect rolls ready to plate and enjoy — plus the confidence to recreate them at home.
