I went on this tour with my sister to celebrate my retirement. We took the tour with Jane (the guide) and Alton (the driver). They were both excellent. Jane was amazing. Her knowledge and enjoyment of her home in New Orleans was obvious. Her stories were captivating and informative. Our guide on the Swamp tour was a multigenerational Cajun man whose knowledge and experience as well as his story telling made the experience very special. The plantation tour was also very good incorporating both the beauty of the setting and the reality of using enslaved people. This tour is worth it

Great traveling on their bus with zero worries about traffic and having the ability to really look around. The plantation was really amazing to see and learn about, in spite of the way labor was obtained for this type of operation. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and extremely nice, but was not as smooth and comfortable as most guides I'm use to; had some work on being more organized. 5 for plantation; 3 for swamp tour gives the average of 4 that I gave. Our kind of had I feel of driving around a guy's back yard watching him feed the wildlife he's trained to come in.

We had a great time on this excursion! The bus ride was about 1.25-1.5 hours from the city but was fairly entertaining. Bus is cold so bring a jacket! It was very nice to be able to leave belongings on the bus. The plantation was lovely, but the heart of this trip was the swamp tour where we saw all kinds of wildlife, including racoons, boar, and alligators. The tour guide "Captain Tom" was a Cajun Crack-Up! He was hilarious!! He made the trip so very memorable and knew what he was doing for sure! Left at 0900 and still made it back in time to enjoy the city in the afternoon/evening! A bonus--no going hungry! Great restaurant for lunch on plantation grounds!

Loved this tour! The Oak Alley Plantation is the place to go. Amazing to see this historical place. Jane our bus tour guide & Stacy our driver were incredible hosts. The swamp tour was fun & interesting as well. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area, who wants to see other things than just the French Quater.

Our tour bus guide, Robert was excellent. Knowledgeable and funny! Plantation tour was both moving and informative. Loved Capt. Danny on our swamp tour. Saw plenty of wildlife and alligators up close. Highly recommend both tours.

Very instructive, especially the slave walk through. Brought slavery from a vague concept to a real life experience.

We had a rainy time at the Plantation and did enjoy what we saw. The swamp bayou part of the tour was so much fun. We saw several alligators, wild hogs, raccoons, and some ducks from South America. The captain was creole and did a great job.and unfortunately I can’t remember his name. John was our guide and shared a lot of history with us on this all day tour.

We had a very good experience. Our tour guide Kimberly was super nice and very enthusiastic about all things New Orleans and its surrounding area. The swamp boat captain was extremely entertaining! We had lunch at the Oak Alley restaurant it was quite good and I highly recommend the blackberry mint julep.
