The Swan Boats on Rainbow Lagoon are one of the hottest new activities in Long Beach's ionic Rainbow Harbor. Don’t miss this unique way to experience the area and all of its beauty.
All of our boats come equipped with shaded canopies for maximum comfort. Our large swan boats feature a roomy back seat for those that would like to forego pedaling and would prefer to just enjoy the view.
You are welcome to bring food and drinks on-board the swan boats for a floating picnic (no alcohol is permitted).

What To Expect
Swan Pedal Boat rentals at Rainbow Lagoon Park are the hottest, one-of-a-kind outdoor activity in Downtown Long Beach. Soak up some California sunshine as you drift alongside Shoreline Drive, past the Long Beach Convention Center around Rainbow Lagoon’s grassy islands. Grab a blanket, bring a hot drink and join us on the lagoon for a cozy Swan Boat Night Ride featuring LED-illuminated swan pedal boats! Available 7 days a week starting at sunset. For safety, all boaters receive boating instructions and must wear Coast Guard-approved life vests.

3.00Fun activity but disappointed with rude employee. I booked 3 boats for a 6 pm reservation (knowing that sunset would be about 6:20) and we wanted to ride with the lights. After riding for a bit, we asked an employee if the lights would be turned on soon & she rudely said it was only offered to bookings after 6:30pm. I explained this was the only reason we booked the boats was for the lights experience and she rudely said, “it says on the site when you’re booking.” This is false as no where on the booking did it indicate this. In fact, it says, “you can even go for an atmospheric evening ride with LED lights on your boat.” If this is in fact the rule, then it needs to be stated clearly at time of booking because I could have easily booked for after 6:30pm. Very frustrated that this was not my fault and for the rude response from the employee.

5.00Our daughter bought us the tickets and reserved the ride for us. We were so excited about it this is an amazing experience we really love it and enjoyed it. Very romantic and my husband was very impressed and wants us to come again. We did great for our first time. We really recommend it.

3.00It was a fun experience however the service wasn't the best and prohibited items are checked so other swan paddlers were smoking making the lake smell of Marijuana.
